People are always turnig their noses because they want big names. But Frank has done a very good job, with a limited budget and a limited squad managin in the EPL. I think someone like him is a far more secure choice than Izaghi, for instance. And remember the last time we hired a promising PL manager it was Pochettino and it went very well.
Nuno was a proven PL manager. Strong parallels to Frank... kept a club with limited budget in the PL... how did that go?

Larry David Reaction GIF
Stick him on ignore, seriously.

He had the 14th biggest budget in the championship and turned that into a solid PL team. He hasn't bought his way to that has he?

We've done the serial winner thing, it didn't work. Every hire we make is a crapshoot
I don't disagree about the crapshoot. I'd just rather there were better options.

I'll back him regardless but I can't pretend it's incredibly underwhelming.

Xavi is just 4 letters...smaller than Frank.

So many on here getting excited about the Danish David Moyes

There must be a clinical diagnosis for this kind of self loathing. The destructive Spurs quality of self harm

Psychologists please contribute below, because so far it's just the Tommy Robinson crowd celebrating the demise of their club's promise
Fuck off with the Tommy Robinson crowd stuff you cunt. I take offence at that as basically you're calling me a racist. I maybe a lot of things, but racist I am not 😡.

Absolutely, sounds like a plan!

And good luck to you guys too. I guess the positive is that despite it being down to Postecoglou for winning you his customary 2nd season trophy, it’s not like you were the laughing stock of British football for the 2 decades prior to his arrival. It’s not like the concept of having victory in sight and throwing it away every single time was literally named after Spurs. It’s not like if you’d polled 100 football fans asking which team they most associate with failure, 99 of them would say Tottenham.

Thankfully, none of those things are tru… oh wait, shit, they’re all true! Fuck! Well, good luck winning the ‘we finished 5th in the league!’ trophy again at least!🤞

I think I speak for all the Ange fuckbois when I say, thank fucking fuck for that. We're out baby, out!

:ange-pray::ange-arms2::ange-lol:

Goodnight and good luck.
It was down to the players negotiating and surmounting the many dumb obstacles he put in their way, to get us over the line.

All this blob did was block up a little bit in the last few games and you knobs wanna perma-suck him off.

It's clear that a proper manager would have absolutely romped it to that cup with this team and not stumbled along the way at any point.

Shut the door behind you.

Correct decision - heart over head argument could be made for keeping him sure but the cold hard facts are we are a shit side who lose more than we win for well over a year now.
If we won the Europa wiping the floor with everyone and playing his football while finishing even 12th he would still be in a job but the fact is his football didn’t win the trophy it was the polar opposite.
Thanks for the cup Ange but a new chapter was needed imo.
Frank is a huge gamble.
And Ange wasn't??

Something wrong with Danes is there?

You sound like a poundshop Farage.

Not really. Nuno's contract wasnt renewed at Wolves as they' 'd had enough. He was also dead in the water as soon as he was appointed here as he was clearly 7th or 8th choice, wasnt allowed to bring all his coaching team and was told what football he had to play, the complete opposite of his usual style. He was a placeholder and the players, fans and probably himself knew it.
