Classy statement from Ange, I wish him well. To be honest, it's a great time for him to go. Paid off the rest of his contract and gone out on the high of the Europa win and the magnificent parade afterwards. No bad run of 15-20 league games to start next season and spoil it, ultimately we'll remember him for European glory.

It's the right move all round.

Wolves were spending big so it wasn't that surprising they were finishing top half.

They were also awful in his final season which is why he left. He had Vitinha and couldn't get anything out of him.

Meanwhile Frank got 20 goals out of Mbeumo and Wissa.

5th highest scorers in the prem last season btw and scored over 20 more goals than Everton but other than that yeah identical

Celtic being able to compete in the Prem I think is more than a little bit of a stretch.

But there's no doubt a manager can make himself can look good at Celtic even if they can't hack it in the PL :troll:

On reflection, I feel quite down in the dumps about Ange leaving.

That Aussie fucker has put us all through the ringer this season, one week I loved him, the next three I was fucking livid with him.

However, being in that stadium in Bilbao will live long in my heart. 🥹

I wish him every success for the future. He gave us fans some glory and I will be forever thankful.

I wanted to at least give Ange at least ten games start of next season because I believed he might have got a bit of belief into these players and with an injury free start was excited about what he might achieve with a few additions. But I'm a realist and if he wasn't cutting it I think that would have been a far more sensible time to sack him. But now we will never know.

All I see on here is a load of gleefully wankers, Nobody giving any respect or thankful that he broke our trophy drought.

This club is going to become even more toxic now, the fanbase is absolutely split down the middle. And by all accounts coming out of the club so are the players.

Now we are back to square one yet again. And I'm hearing the same absolute horseshit again about how a new manager is going to fix Tottenham Hotspur
