Its the correct decision. Well done Levy and the board. A tough call that had to be made if we were serious about next season and beyond.

Thanks to Ange, and a classy statement to boot.

Now let's move on, onwards and upwards.

I have mixed emotions on this. He gave 99% of us our greatest day and I was stuck between giving him the start of the season to see if the Europa gave us the spark to kick on or get rid. The league form can’t be ignored. My biggest issue is who we replace him with. Frank will get my support obviously if it’s him but I don’t see it moving forward. I feel it’s a sideways step.
Levy's ultimate fave.

That's a pair of massive monkeys off our back in just over a fortnight.

I'm happy tonight.

I think it's fair to say he had a love hate relationship with the fans.
I think when he saw some of our fans celebrating City scoring against us at home that was a WTF moment for him and the relationship was frosty from there. He got chewed out plenty through the season and he deserved a lot of it. The league performances were a disgrace. But at the end he showed some real love for the fans and we all shared in it.

I get the impression some people on here couldn't even celebrate that win though or did so through gritted teeth because their hatred for Ange and their desperation to be proved right was more important than Spurs winning a cup.

And that's just sad
No.

He despised us.

I’m forever grateful to him for ending our trophy drought and wish him well for the future. No hard feelings.

The decision to sack him was the right one and it would have been a serious mistake to give him longer in my opinion. The 78 points from 66 games was shockingly bad whatever way it’s sliced up. However, the stand out for me across so many games was the number of times we looked like a side that simply wasn’t coached. It just happened too often. Injuries or not, whatever team we put out (at this level) should look like they have been drilled, coached and have a full understanding of their roles and what is expected. Of course, youth, inexperience and ability all come into play, but the team should at least look like it has been coached.

To be honest I don’t think it matters too much who comes in at this point. Serial winners like Mourinho and Conte couldn’t make things work. Things are never going to be straight forward at Spurs with Levy still at the helm. But if we had stuck with Ange I genuinely think we would have carried on going backwards.
Maybe the Glazers should buy us....

Shocked Heidi Klum GIF by America's Got Talent

You mean the same Ivan Toney who was banned for 8 months after placing 232 bets on football... some great man management there.

And our best players fucking off because they don't like the manager has always been a winning strategy hasn't it... jesus!!!
Are you really blaming frank for toney's betting???
