No, that was Ange's I'm afraid. He and his backers felt strongly that he'd done enough to keep the job. I was Ange Out in October.

We are a big club, we should expect CL places every year and to be challenging for the league. I would be sacking managers for being out of the Europe places, personally, or if we are stagnant and not moving upward.

If we had that sort of ambition with investment to match, the cups will happen on their own.

I’m sure Micky had followed Ange’s career in Scotland and Japan with huge interest, dreaming of playing under him since he was a whippersnapper.

Nothing to do with a big pay increase and guaranteed first team football in the PL to help national team chances along with European football

Woolwich's second with 58 games, and their post season situation is worse in my eyes)

I agree that we are not currently equipped to make the Europe places next year or to make it to the knockout stages of the CL. The quality isn't there.

But we need somewhere to go from the relegation form of the Ange era, rebuilding is needed all throughout the organization. There's no doubt in my mind that Frank would raise the standard right away. It's an immediate upgrade. Some will see his appointment as one with a limited ceiling, but I think it also has a high floor.

I'm not stumping for him, I don't think he would be my choice, but if he's it then there is reason to hope for significantly better football next year.

Granted , but if we want to buy top players to give a good account a ourselves in the Champions League , we have the advantage of being able to spend such money . A situation that chavski , Toon and C$teh don't have the privilege . If we had new owners that would be a good advantage to them

I said we should always be challenging to win the league, we should maintain a level of being contenders to win the league year in and year out. No club is going to win every year, but a club of our size should be able to win the league, and should be in the conversation most years.

That is my expectation. Not to finish 17th and bumble into a trophy every dozen years or so.

And if we kept Fat Carl we would have been in for a shit season.

He gambled everything on a weak cup that played out unbelievably well for him. Let's face it, had he lost the cup final even Sausage boy would have wanted him gone, along with EVERY Spurs fan
