If you got the sense the club was moving in the right direction then yes.

What trophy were people expecting Ange to win this season? Were people seriously happy with the league form and performances this year just because we won something?
I was fucking delighted to win a trophy this season, seriously fucking delighted.

My couple of days in Bilbao is a memory that is forever.

8th is acceptable, after winning the EL? Bollox to that.

Klopp and Pep never finished 17th or lost the number of games Ange did.

Most games Pep ever lost in a PL season is 9. Lowest finish? 3rd.
Most games Klopp ever lost in a PL season is 12 (in his first). Lowest finish was 8th in his first season. 5th after that.

Ange would have kept his job and probably got an extension with a top-half finish.

So what you're comparing there is crazy, crazy different. We gave Ange far more money and far more support than any other manager in the last 25 years.

It's not about the money. It's about Van Dijk being a better player than Dragusin. It's about none of our recruitment ever getting a money signing right.

It was the right decision. The timing was also just about right. Letting it go beyond this week would of been too far.

The euphoria has died down somewhat and they had a few weeks to carefully consider the decision and subsequent ramifications of such.

I mean looking at it objectively, it was the right decision.

If you're a board member you're voting to sack him everyday of the week.

Stan Collymore is bang on, the league is where true growth and sustainability will come from.

We can't be finishing 17th ffs. It's a million miles off not good enough despite the achievement of the cup.

Ange Postecoglou is a likable figure and a great communicator, which bought him a lot of goodwill—but Spurs' league form simply wasn’t good enough. Despite heavy investment over two seasons, the team struggled with injuries and an overly aggressive style that left the defense exposed.

They finished 17th with 38 points—Tottenham’s lowest top-flight finish in nearly 50 years—and in many other Premier League seasons, that total would have meant relegation. While the Europa League win provided a bright spot, it papered over serious issues in the league.

Had they lost the final, would anyone still be “Ange-in”? Probably not. The excuses ran out. Wish him well, but it was time.

So what is progress this season to you? Apart from keeping postecoglu?

What do you think Ange would've done this season to improve us?

Ange couldn't retain the trophy he won last season. He did nothing in any of the other ones we entered.

Interested to see if you get an answer to this question

Not sure anyone has really thought about what the reality of what appointing Frank really says about what’s to come for our club
Has Ange ever won the Pl, the CL the FA or the CC

No

And those are the trophies we are in this season.

His EL win gives no grounds to believe he will win one of four much harder trophies this season.

So tell me, do you honestly believe Ange would have followed up with a CL trophy or league title next season? Because I'm certain he'd do no better than 8th with no trophy next season. Not even close.
