The vibes would only have lasted until first match of the season. Then the reality of we are crap sets in.

Journos are in mourning that they lost their column inches cow.

Lee McQueen (who i don't know how close he is to the club) stated last night that Levy would be stepping down, Cullen was told to go, and did not "step down" and that huge investment was coming into the club.

He didn't say he had heard this, he categorically said it was happening.

Towards the end, but I haven't got the exact time.

Thats a poor excuse and doesn't breed a winning mentality or momentum. This guy lost a historical number of matches and there seems to always be an excuse for it. That's not what I fork out my ST money for.

It’s just so obvious, I don’t know why people keep missing this point.

I keep seeing loads of comments about how he has instilled this winners mentality in the club but he literally threw away half of a league season.

Does anyone think that he would have the balls to admit that if we had lost the final or been knocked out in the semi?

Gutted.

It was like a dream come true when the first ever Australian coach was chosen for my team. What a rollercoaster, from those first few months when it seemed his team would sweep all before him, to it all falling apart in the league this season. Then a climactic finale, a moment I will remember forever.

I'd hoped that he'd earned the right to prove the doubters wrong, like he has done over and over during his career. Unfortunately we will never know.

Thanks and good luck Ange.

Not enough squad depth to fight on two fronts, injury crisis, and then prioritisation of EL (which was vindicated).
22 defeats not good enough but fault is with Levy for not investing enough- now he gets away with it as manager scapegoated.

Levy bought Ange plenty of players and spent a fortune. You are talking nonsense. Ange is the worst manager we’ve ever had. I don’t care if he won the Europa. Dimatteo won a champions league ffs.

Yep, the fact we ended our trophy drought.
He could only do it against the Bodo's of this world. Not against PL teams. Battered 22 times plus the losses in the league/fa cup.

Even Tamworth were doing a number on Ange. Took it to extra time. Ange is a clown who fluked a victory.

West Ham won a european trophy. Not really a great team, is it? Just like we were a shit team under Ange.

We should be glad that we won a trophy. It was not thanks to Ange. It was thanks to our talented players who dragged us through regardless of a stupid manager. But the lifting was too much in the domestic league, because of Ange's idiotic tactics.

I was all for this manager doing well and Tottenham succeeding. First season started excellent. But by this mid season I was done with this manager already. Sure, glad Tottenham won a bit of something
But it isn't the Premier League Championship. Looking forward to Tottenham becoming Super Spurs and able to compete for The Elite Top of Premier League. COYS!!!!
