I registered on Brentford forum, made one post suggesting that Ange could replace Frank.

Got banned.

Not even joking

Record losses, 17th place, and 8th place out of our last 8 permanent managers in PPG. Even with the initial bounce overstating those numbers.

People dare to claim he's a better manager than Poch was after all the money spent... Poch went basically 18 months with no signings and is still our most successful manager in decades.

I honestly don't care if Ange founded an orphanage and donated a kidney to Biss's granny, he's not fit to manage in the premiership.

He can go be a player favorite in Scotland again and I will wish him well. Well away from here

not true.

all i read is that success is trophies. success is winning something - that's why people cant stand ENIC because they haven't brought success to this club.

Poch may have played the best football - he finished highest In the league, got to a CL final, but his tangible success is 0 - nothing - nada - in 50 years when looking back at Poch's success, people wont see a single thing.

Check out the diminishing points per game if you break up 2 seasons in to 4 quarters.
Fucking. SHOCKING.
In Ange's best season we were... lucky not to be relegated.

Ange ought to send Ipswich a nice gift for the favor of being so dreadful... apart from when they won away against him

We fought for the elite honours under Pochettino and fell just short. That’s still success for Spurs.
While Poch was our most successful manager in decades and was leaps and bounds superior to Ange in terms of his tenure at the club, the failure to bring silverware is a stain on his record and ultimately the pairing of those two things, the standard of competitive excellence he reached without a trophy to punctuate it, caused a years-long nervous breakdown at the club.

No trophies isn't success, it's absolutely poisonous for a club billing itself among the global elite, it just cannot be narratively and psychologically sustained here, Woolwich, anywhere.

We don't have to pretend Ange's performance was better than it was in order to be very, very grateful that he closed that wound. The club was collapsing under the weight of what it had failed to do during Poch's greatness.

And if his achievement allows Thomas Frank to join the small fraternity of trophy winning managers at Spurs in his very first game, that gift will have kept on giving.

Apparently Son has said this;

“You trusted me with the captaincy. One of the highest honours of my career. It’s been an incredible privilege to learn from your leadership up close. I am a better player and a better person because of you.''

He's not become a better player has he? If anything he's much worse.

Isn't it the footballing equivalent of when some local scrote gets wiped out by a lorry doing a wheelie down the high street on a stolen dirt bike after robbing an old biddy's bag at the local cashpoint. "He was a lovely lad who'd do anything for anyone" etc.
