This is bollocks. Has a non native ever managed the Italian national team? Lazy stuff.

This is his Twitter bio.

“Freelance football journalist | Transfers & stories You got baited, reeled in, and fed pure misinformation. Try not to be rattled, it’s just for clicks”

It worries me people think that rumour could carry any truth.

It’s Italy. A country with a shedload of international level managers.

If it was Saudi Arabia or Mali, hell even Japan it would be more believable

a country that prides itself on being defensively sound.....some people really do show themselves up.

So Liverpool the strongest team in the league are strengthening and Woolich are in talks and we don't even have a manager. Talk of a player mutiny. Since when did the players pick the manager? Porro wants a transfer, well let him go.

The amount of revisionist bollocks some journalists and pundits have come out with in the last few weeks is simply nauseating. The guy was deservedly sacked for grossly underpeforming for the best part of 18 months. End of story.

In January 2024 he rejected the idea that a single trophy could ever constitute satisfaction or atone for mediocrity elsewhere (“You can’t just sit back and say: ‘I’ve just delivered a trophy, shouldn’t I have some latitude to not be successful?’”). In October 2024 he insisted that Tottenham’s league performance should be regarded as the “most meaningful” measure of his side’s progress.

:ange-hmm:
