English culture in 2025 is a bald, white, middle aged, massive bellied lump wearing a St. George t-shirt with the most eye-rolling slogan imaginable, something like “End Racism Against the English Now”. Actually, if you want to compare two managers you should do it with the same material.
I'm curious to listen what Frank is going to say about the team he inherited.
Well, he’s a Premier League manager so he’s going to understand that losing half your team to injury for most of the season is going to have a drastic effect on performance. He’ll obviously also know that fighting on all fronts with 4 of 5 of your defence out is essentially an impossibility, and that using something insane like 32 different combinations in defence isn’t a recipe for consistency. He’s not an idiot.I would imagine he will be diplomatic enough to avoid any question that relates to the acceptability of losing 22 games out of 38.
Can only assume he's another of those that blatantly doesn't actually sit down and watch us play...![]()
BBC Radio 5 Live - 5 Live In Short, Spurs fan writes Ange Postecoglou a letter which goes viral
Jeremy Conrad bumped into Postecoglou at a hotel on holiday.www.bbc.co.uk
What the actual fuck is this. I can’t. Absolute fucking wetwipes in our fanbase. He wrote a handwritten love letter to Ange and sent it to his hotel room with a bottle of wine.
Fuck sake.
Spurs didn't pay the wages that the other top clubs were paying. I've heard Steve Perryman talking about this period regarding 'off the radar' payments being the norm at other clubs; but not at Spurs.Chivers was quite honest about the end of his time at Spurs. It wasn't him that said jennings left a month after Neill, he just said it was after.
Like a dipstick, I looked the dates up and didn't look at the year...
There's a bit of a theme, as greaves was pushed out, jennings was pushed out and Chivers was too.
Still happens these days. I remember when Kante refusing to be paid offshore was presented as a feel good story by the media (N'Golo Kante emerges from Football Leaks revelations with an improved reputation) when the question everyone should’ve been asking was ‘hang on, Chelsea are doing what?’Spurs didn't pay the wages that the other top clubs were paying. Heard this on the radio today and conjured up a mental image of the Ange fanbois on here all meeting up and singing this as a therapeutic exercise.

Maybe this meant something to him?

It might not have meant much to you, but it did to him - so why so angry![]()
Ange brought us a glorious moment that untied the fan baseBut it’s bullshit lol. Ange has never united the fanbase. While we were having that parade the polls on sacking him or not were probably an even split.
‘Ange brought us a glorious moment’ would be true. Ange united the fanbase was most definitely not true.

Ange reunited the fans that touch grass and go outside and have human interaction, not sure about the miserable basement dwellers though...![]()

Nah. Still didn’t like him on the day of the win or the parade. I imagine large parts of the fanbase were the same.
