Ange played pragmatically in the EL and we did have some decent performances like Frankfurt so happy to give him credit for that but 17th in the league even with injuries is awful. He owns that as well.

It’s like Levy, you can respect the really good things he did with the infrastructure while also criticising his micro management and lack of football vision.

I am glad we had Ange and glad we had Levy for the stadium but I am also thankful they are now both gone.

Wolfie was banging on in another YT panel about how Ange finished 5th with us in his first season.

But this is no longer Anges first season in the PL and for me that’s the crucial point. We know that teams sussed his playing style out so unless he’s changed or really ends up perfecting “Ange ball”, it’s simply going to be a continuation of finishing last season in 17th and being extremely lucky in, not getting us relegated and winning the EL…

I can't speak for everyone, but for me, it's a direct reaction to being told for 2 years by his fanbois how great he is.
Especially the Aussie nomads who don't support teams, they support him.
They're no doubt currently infesting Forest forums and shouting at Forest fans about how great he is.

When you consider the profile of the likes of Mourinho and Conte, 2 coaches who have won the biggest prizes at the highest level, even they didn't have such a mental, irrational following.

Were you on the forum when Jose was our manager. A giant bundle of new accounts came on here talking Jose up and putting Spurs down. Never seen anything like it, first time I proper used the blocking function. They where worse than the style of football. When we sacked him the accounts all fucked off, United fans moaned about as well. They called them Mourinhoistas.

On here, he’s fully to blame for everything that went wrong, but gets no credit for what went well. Same as Levy.

This is true. Mourinho and Conte were much more negative about Spurs in their times and achieved very little. But their arrogance was at least earned at the highest level.

I think it's the combination of Ange's stubbornness, his nasty streak and his hubris that's misplaced at the top level that winds a lot of us up.

I certainly have felt some enjoyment watching his Forest struggles (early days tbf) , which I wasn't expecting to feel.

I guess you don't get a new manager bounce when the old manager was doing a great job.

I got PTSD from watching that. You could literally copy and paste that from any one of our losses last two years. This is a guy who almost got us knocked out by Tamworth.

Absolute fraud of the highest order.

So glad we somehow fluked the Cup and I tell you, it was in spite of him. The players completely abandoned his system and principles to get us over the line when we got to the Semi's of the competition.

If it wasn't for the players and that cup, he would rightly be considered the absolute worst manager we've ever had. For me he still is.

For a brand new manager, to come in to a club and lose a cup game away to Swansea in that fashion is awful.

Remember Forest are supposed to be a top 8 side too. They narrowly missed out on CL last season.

I fancy Burnley to do them this weekend.

im flattered you would take my words and do that but let's be honest, this isn't about valid criticism.... conspiracy theories about players abandoning tactics in Europa etc - calling him a cunt - it's about precious little babies who don't know how to process their feelings
