Mad thing is, Frank probably isn't as terrible as many think he is. The problem is, he just isn't THAT guy. Anyone coming in after what we achieved last season, the passion, the fight... The trauma of it even.

Until our best players of Ange's period have been sold or moved on, this club is going to struggle to move on.

The timing of the sacking was despicable. The sort in which only real idiots or psychopaths are capable making.

The feel good factor of the squad and REAL supporters was just too REAL in that period, and in every other universe that path is allowed to continue.

Only here at Tottenham do we make these decisions. Even Ten Hag got another season after clutching an FA cup.

The injury issues began long before Ange arrived. Dele, Lamela, Dier, Lo Celso to name a few.

This season has demonstrated that it wasn't Ange's system or methods that was causing injuries to the players.

We sacked a coach who overcame the injury issues. Finishing 5th in season one. And lifting European trophy in season 2 - and crucially did that without Harry Kane, and had the full backing of the dressing room.

Sacking Ange sent the wrong message, and potentially burnt Spurs bridges with ever hoping of attracting an elite coach.

Frank should be judged at the end of the season. He has got the team into the champions league knockouts and deserves to finish that run. However. The precident has been set, even if he wins the champs league, the club will sack him. How's that for motivation?

Honestly, in a year or so we’re going to have a proper manager and be fighting for top 4 again and people are going to be saying it’s because of the foundations Ange laid - the same foundations that Frank has us in relegation trouble with.

We saw what Ange could do at Forest. It’s very simple, Ange was a poor Prem manager and Frank is even worse

I mean its true though :porrohands:

100% Correct. But at this point mate this is a conversation more about egos of people trying to get a reaction. Leave the mugs too it. Im far too concerned about my actual team.

It's so good to see this thread going strong.

The same Ange-out cretins posting on here as they did last season.
You lot consider finishing fourth in the EPL as a good result. What a joke!!
4th really means finishing 3rd best of all the LOSERS.

We'd be in a lot better position now if they'de stuck with him.

In hindsight should've just given him another season since he had the full support and belief of the squad.
Give him palhinha, xavi and Kudus as Frank got and get a much much better coaching team around him and a clear mandate about not letting the league go again

Think we would've got much better than this current tripe and still switched for Poch or whoever come summer

Alas season 3 with the new show runners is unwatchable

I pop in here now and again when I spot the thread, just to see if anyone's hired him yet. Perhaps there will be an opening to manage a kebab shop soonly

He's working for UEFA as a technical observer. The role entails writing detailed reports on UEFA Champions League matches, with insights on coaching, tactics and playing styles, with access to broadcast feeds, tactical angles and other views to provide “detailed reports on the latest developments in coaching” and “dynamic account of the state of the game”. He also is responsible for picking the man of the match.

Have you considered that you might be a touch obsessed with our former manager?

No issue with the cunts constantly keeping this thread alive by going on about how amazing he is though, eh?

They get backlash to that because it’s bullshit. The football world views the guy as a bum. Sacked in record time at Forest and not touched by anyone since.

I’ll happily stop calling him out for being a bum manager the second we stop having moronic fans pining for the coach who left us in 17th.

Guess this threads gonna stay at the top of this forum then

Fast enough to blame him though!! Many were!!

Ange was building the club up from the bottom up. Unfortunately he wasn't kept on to bear the fruits of his labour.

Like, what do people expect other fans to respond to this?

“Building the club” - we had about very strong start followed by a horrendous decline for about a year and a half of football. We got worse the longer he was in charge.

This cunt made spurs possibly being in a relegation fight a thing and we have stayed that hideous in the league since.

That’s fine mate. I enjoy coming in here and calling him shit - it’s accurate and therapeutic.

Maybe he’s one of the posters in here. He’s jobless so presumably has lots of time. I don’t think anyone outside of Scotland or Greece is hiring him anytime soon.

It never ends well for you in here so if you want to keep making a nob of yourself then be my guest, last time you ended up getting personal because you were so frustrated that no one was taking your weak ass arguments about our legend seriously.

It never ends well for me in here in your own schizophrenic mind where you’ve imagined that you “won” and everyone in here is applauding you. Imagining and celebrating your own forum victories isn’t normal and you should seek help, genuinely.

I think mostly everyone other than you & a few weird Australians has this thread on ignore now. It’s your new ENIC thread/contrarian hill to die on. What a life.

No need to imagine I've won, we've got real evidence of winning mate, happened May 21st, were you in the room with us that day?

I know it burns you when the club are successful so probably not but let me remind you...

As has been said, I’m pretty sure he’s working with UEFA. Wonder why you mention a kebab shop particularly? 🤔

I’m actually not stunned. You strike me as one of those kind of folk. You know the kind. Mask slipped a bit didn’t it? Everyone’s seen it now.
