Firmly Ange out.
But I enjoyed that. His reminiscing of early life resonates as true with many here.

I don’t know he was quite upfront about Forest. The bloke is a used car salesman , spouts a lot of self serving bs . There maybe some truth in bits he’s said but you can’t really take him seriously
What did he say ?

I’ve not watch either bits to be honest , just seen bits of them
I see the Ange Postecoglou publicity tour is still in full swing. Desperately trying to rewrite history to generate enough credibility to get a top job again.
Interesting hearing him justifying the defensive switch in Europa and trying to take ownership of it. Having heard a lot of Ange speak, I've never seen him so shifty when talking about his tactics - he's usually so bullish. Felt like a very wishy-washy tale to me and think he's not telling the whole story, or even half of it. I don't think there was some full-on coup from the players as some on here seem to think, but I get a strong sense something went on and it wasn't wholly his idea. The whole "I did a deep dive on previous winners" felt like absolute bollocks to me.
That said, I've slagged him off on here a fair bit but I do enjoy listening to Ange. Really wish it had worked out.

Nah, he would love to win the NLD. That's his unfinished business.Great news! He apparently doesn’t “go back” to previous clubs.

Ange Postecoglou rules out Celtic return in podcast interview
Ange Postecoglou says he would not consider a return to managing Celtic despite the "amazing experience" he enjoyed in Glasgow.www.bbc.co.uk

Lol. You have VdV's quotes and now you have Ange's quotes and you STILL wish to believe in your own hypothesis.Spot on. It's like asking an ex employee why they got sacked and what went wrong in their old job. You know it's going to be a load of self serving bullshit, wasn't my fault guv.
If it's Ange's word against VDV who specifically said Ange had no plan B, and they decided to play their own way in Europe, I know who I am believing. It marries up with exactly what I saw, said it at the time, it makes complete sense. Ange is full of shit.

Ange's version contradicts VDV and he basically says it was all his idea. Do you know how rare it is for a PL player, especially a current one, to come out and say what VDV said? He basically said the previous manager had no plan B and the players took it upon themselves to win the trophy. Damn sure I believe VDV. Ange is the one who is looking for his next job so is going to lie about it to make himself look like the architect. Why would VDV lie about it?
This is generally a Low IQ take, have you heard yourself, it's mad embarrassing dude.
