The true blue Ange haters are just crazed ideologues about the football unworthiness of either the Scottish league, Australians, or both. It never had anything to do with us, and nothing he could ever do here or anywhere would change their views.
I was neutral toward his hiring, and positive in the early going as all were. He earned my estimation of him through sustained failure. I could not care less where he’s from. His lack of any tactics and his unwillingness to ever take responsibility for anything combined with the very poor results he achieved are a toxic brew.

I just so want trojan Vinai scum and cunt Lange to be right one time. Just, fucking one time, with the appointment with Tudor. They can take the credit off Paratici for all I care. The Tudor appointment must work out and we have to escape relegation.

But with each passing loss under Tudor and it just looked like another wrong in not reappointing Ange back after Frank. Sacking him for Frank was already a diabolical decision. We actually may double down on making the mistake twice.

Some fresh clips that aren't often circulated. Amazing what Ange managed with this "apparent" awful squad. Interesting to see players like Sarr, Davies, Bentancur, and Johnson look actually effective there.

Question is, are these players actually turd, or was Ange a genius?

Guess we'll never know because the media did their thing when they identified us being an actual threat, and then half of our fans did the rest...

What could have been... If only big Ange had the support he deserved... Maybe he then could have had the players he deserved...

Then maybe half of us who are TRUE could have had the success and future we deserve.

He was also part responsible for the start of the decline.

Aside from Wolves the only club to have a worse current run of form than us was Nottingham Forest under Postecoglou.

The 38 points from 38 games says otherwise, and each stat is heavily weighted towards the older one of each

It was 41 from the last 40 (1.025 ppg)
25 from the last 30 (0.83 ppg)
15 points from the last 20 (0.75 ppg)
4 points from the last 10 (0.4 ppg)

Then with Forest, 1 point from 5 games (0.2 ppg)

You could draw an almost immaculate line of a reduction of 0.2ppg every 10 games
But the players adored him and would run through brick walls........apparently.

And you're still doing it. Of course are because you simply will not face reality.

You treated people like shit for supporting Postecoglou while he got us to 5th then won us a European Trophy despite an unprecedented injury crisis. You declared that all our problems were down to the manager. You were warned that it was much deeper than that bit you didn't listen.

Now - here we are about to be relegated - and you still won't admit you were wrong. Despite those of us who warned you over and over that it wasn't the "manager" that was the problem.

But history knows. And that's why I think people like you should be held to account. You were warned. But you didn't listen, you behaved abominably, and now we are where we are.

Always fighting the false battle.
He is either just trolling or truly believes what he writes.. While I admire your tenacity in calling him and his ilk out, it is a waste of your valuable time. People wedded so completely to a particular point of view do not have the capacity to step back and see when their view is misguided.

Yeah definitely all on Ange that isn't it...

Yeah taking that Forest job was an awful decision - something he himself has said. Albeit - think they would have been doing better by this point if they had stuck it out with him.

Well I think being the manager for two years and in 22 of the months there is a steady decline in performance and results, he would have some way contributed to that yes.

Of course it was an awful decision but never his fault.

But this is the problem why would they be doing better.....based on what evidence....the same would apply to us why would he have got us back on track when he proved he couldn't while he was here.

And if that’s not good enough, I suppose you could look at his only lasting one winless month at Forest and being passed over for every manager job since.
Weird take based on nothing. For that to be accurate you’d have to know that he applied or was interested in ‘every manager job since’ - or indeed any of them.

I don’t know about you, but if I was just paid off to the tune of £7 million, immediately jumped into another job that didn’t work out and was paid off millions (?) there too, I’d probably be ready for a little break to take stock and recharge the batteries. Either that or an extended holiday full of hookers and cocaine 😆

lol what are you on about

Ange finished 17th on a points tally that would quite often get you relegated. Record number of losses.

People don’t “hate him” he’s just not good at managing. He was awful at Forest too. He is now unemployed. Nobody wants the cunt. He only got the forest job because of his fellow fat Greek.

Bro is having to pawn himself off on sky to try and blame everyone but himself for being the worst team not relegated, just so he can beg for a job. Like come on, you’re going back to Scotland or Greece mate. You ain’t top level.

He had a good run/start first season which fell off a cliff and we stayed on a decline for a year and a half. The ropey league was a perfect storm where the players had to instruct him on how to coach them.

Nobody is a hater or crazed. If it wasn’t for his fucking fans bumping this thread to furiously wank him off every time we lose a game, nobody would care. He has fully faded off in to irrelevance now, it’s only the Aussie fanboys and “we are European champions” brigade left.

OTOH, after changing two managers some start to suspect that squad quality and depth along with injuries maybe, just maybe have something to do with club's performance.
Edit: I doubt that any top manager would take the job with the players in hand and the owners' attitude. The place is a managers' graveyard.

Imagine going from being the Champions of Europe to teetering on the edge of relegation all because you sacked your most successful manager in like forever. Yeesh.

I just hope for one thing: please please see it in your heart to retrospectively enjoy the glorious trophy victory that brought us true fans such jubilation, while letting go of this shameful demented bitterness inside you. I know it’s difficult to accept that a Scottish Greek Australian prevailed where your favourite ex-Chelsea managers failed miserably, but you’re only embarrassing yourself here.

My memory’s a little hazy, but I think you may be replying to a guy there who argued that sacking Postecoglou and replacing him with any competent manager (which for whatever faults he may have, Frank previously demonstrated he was) would result in the club cannoning up the league. I wonder why that hasn’t been the case?

Lots of people were saying similar to be fair, and many of the same people have suddenly changed their tune to, ‘well, um, err, Postecoglou normalised losing!’. Which doesn’t really hold water when a near novice manager has turned Manchester United’s results around in double quick time. So like you say, the rot goes much deeper than managers.

We aren’t champions of Europe. PSG are champions of Europe. We were teetering on the edge of relegation with the manager who won the EL.

I can enjoy the trophy win whilst thinking Ange is crap. It is eminently possible. The football world thinks it. The loser will be lucky to get a job ever again in a top 5 league.

Brentford have also apparently gone up the table after losing Frank, so it’s entirely possibly he’s also not very good.

Ange lost constantly with us and lost constantly with Forest. He’s a loser at this level. His win percentage in the league is bad. He will brag for the rest of his life about fluking a EL and he’ll be the height of his career. No top club will go near him again.

And you fanboys will still be in an Ange thread somewhere saying he was champion of Europe and how badly he was treated. Cult.

So ropey that you Woolwich cunts have never won it....

Oh god this again. No they didn’t win it they just dicked us to death in every fixture of late while playing for the league. You know, what we did under Poch while laughing at teams for qualifying for Europa.

Of course they might win the big one instead and you’ll still be going “they haven’t won the Europa” as if it means anything.

Has the greatest living manager been hired by anyone yet?
If we hire him then, you can guarantee a certain group of fans will want him sacked asap!
Then they will proceed to denigrate him by making negative remarks about his physical appearance and state that they hate him, even though they probably have not even met him!
Maybe we should hire a woman!

This guy right here defending Woolwich more enthusiastically than I’ve ever seen him support his own team. Ick.
