Wouldn't have made any difference, the problem was, he stuck to his system regardless... And got found out and refused to adapt.

And as pointed out earlier, he didn't manage the squad he did have effectively, a la, Porro and Udogie rotating with Djed and Reg, not because they better or even good, but just to rest Porro and Udogie. Rather than running them into the ground and breaking them too.

He was an awful manager, regardless of the lack of backing by Levy as per his norm. As he didn't use what little he did have effectively enough.

I'm not sure if you've noticed but this is a Spurs Forum to talk about Spurs related subject matter.

If your Deranged hate for a manager that won us our first European Trophy in 40 years leads you to not being able to comprehend why some Spurs fans just like to remember, reminisce and rejoice in that achievement then I don't know what to tell you. 🤷‍♂️

Remember I didn't post in this thread for 5 months after he left because he was no longer Spurs so not relevant. you posted more in this thread than any other thread during those 5 months. You need to ask yourself why you did that?

Now I'm back because this is my happy place given the absolute diabolical shitstorm taking the advice of Derangers had landed us in.

I really don't have to answer your questions about if and when or where Ange Postecoglou may continue his career. 🤷‍♂️

Ange wants to. Ange can’t because nobody decent wants him. Why? Because your take is not one shared by people running football clubs. The only one mad enough to was running a relegation threatened team and even he realised very quickly it was a bad idea.

You might want to think of why that is. I don’t have a deranged hate of him, I just think he’s a poor coach at league level. I dislike the people who worship him more than I do him.

What take?

That, by and large, he did a pretty good job at Spurs finishing 5th and winning a European Trophy despite an unprecedented injury crisis that ruined our league season? I think you'll find history will be far kinder to my take than, say, this one:

Maybe if you spent a little more time focusing on what's best for Spurs rather than hating people who appreciate Postecoglou winning us a European Trophy, you wouldn't be a little moth burning his wings in this thread? 🤷‍♂️
 
Three managers later and we're still here. You have to love this fanbase. Will De Zerbi inspire the same controversy I wonder? Perhaps it will be a question of who reaches 5000 first.
