Same Son, same...

Such a shame so many were unable to realise just how great of a leader Ange was. Even though it was right in front of their faces.

🐑ple is a very real thing...

The most identifying characteristic of an effective leader is a willingness to take responsibility.

We all saw his character as a leader before our eyes week in and week out. We saw it in every question from every journo where he never once took responsibility for anything. He only blamed the players, blamed 'individual errors' every time. Then after he's sacked he blames administration for not giving him players when he insisted at the time he was happy. Not an especially good liar, even.

We also saw his colors when he mugged off our own fans, we saw it when he was clueless as to our rivalries and acted as though the questions about it were silly; he didn't care because they didn't register with him. He was self interested. Not what a leader is.

Ange had many faults but inability to project leadership was absolutely not one of them, as has been echoed by literally everyone exposed to his time at the club. He may have been selling snake oil but Hotspur Way was buying it.

If there's one thing the Frank era should have made clear to people by way of contrast, we have almost uniformly had very strong and galvanizing personalities in the dugout during the Levy era, I think there's no doubt that's something he personally emphasized.
