Hijacking this thread further (I'm turning this into a - I hate the media thread) - I just got a text from a friend who was furious because a USA paper just put out an article that said USA was better than England right now. I shit you not.

The journos here are the exact opposite of the writers in England. Here they write nonsense that's filled with irrational belief. In England- it's nonsense explaining why you shouldn't bother believing. Somewhere in between the two extremes lies the truth.
