I’ll believe the bottom half of the league over a full season when I see it. Otherwise you’re being a prisoner of the moment. We’ve had some up and down results no doubt. Totally depends on what sample size you take. We’re 4 games in! Sure if you go back to X date then that’s more games. But why not further? It’s arbitrary to pick when rough results started and choose that to show we’re bad. That was also when we had a really rough run of games. It’s a 38 game season. Also, the eye test, underlying stats, etc matter. And I think we’re on the right track overall.

I don’t think there’s anyone we could get who guarantees success. We’ve tried the other route. I think if we can’t stick by a manager through this kind of stuff we’ll never win anything. But if you just want to be mad and continue on this cycle into eternity..,then good luck? We’re not going to agree. Move on.
I've shown in various ways how ever since Ange arrived, over various periods of games, it's proven we have been taking less and less points as time goes on. It's as much of a fact as the sun coming up in the morning and going down at night.
We are getting worse in terms of results and football IS results based.

5 more games.

Has the tactical nous of a pub manager. Whatever he is drinking let’s hope it has run out
by 5 more games you saying he can lose the next 4 league ones? forget cup games as they are against sides not even premier league level. our next 4 league games is brentford, united, brighton and west ham....hes gotta get 7 points from that lot imo to deserve anymore time.

Gotta say I loved his presser (the embargoed version) where he was talking about bringing the young players through, his vision for them to come good in the next couple of years (if he is here) but I particularly liked the part where he was talking about the attraction of him coming to Spurs was that he wants to be the one who breaks this trophy drought.

Now that the anger has abated from the weekend, I have to say he won me back over a bit today. Obviously he needs results and pronto including tonight. But I think that was probably the most measured and sensible presser he's given for a while.

brentford is fucking huge. he HAS to win.

lose that and we might be better off with fucking mason until international break, fucking pathetic really.
20/21
2.14 ppg

22/23
1.16ppg

Blended - 1.615ppg over 13 games.

To be fair to his 2nd stint. We went 2 down early against United and got a draw. Could easily have won with another 10 mins on the clock. Or without the early mistakes.
3 down away to Liverpool, pulled it back to 3-3 and then Lucas fucking Moura fucked it up.
1 point from 2 games, where a little concentration would have seen 4, very deserved points.

He seems to get the team scoring. We've scored in 100% of his league games. 26 goals in 13 games for vs 19 against.
