It has to play its part but he’s right.

The point is that people applauding this prick is pretty weak.

I'm not sure what planet people are living on where they think our players haven't been slagged off by him before, or by other managers, it's happened.

Sure, slagging off the owners is fun but let's not act like the guy hasn't been, for the most part, backed. You can laugh at our history but it's not like Conte wasn't given quite a lot to work with.

At the end of the day, everyone is to blame, but anyone applauding this prick on his way out needs to think twice.
I don't see him getting applauded, everybody here seems to be calling him a cunt. He is that and we knew it. As a club we need to hear a few home truths and some of our fans seem a bit fragile when it comes from the manager.

There is no bigger critic of his football and tactics than me, i despise his fucking garbage wing-back system. But that doesn't change the fact that nothing he is saying tonight is without merit.

If he's out then let him go out on his terms and tell a few people they are fucking shit. God knows they need to hear it.

Think today was it for me with Conte, it’s like he can’t even imagine a team scoring more than 2 or 3 goals - it is a completely alien concept for him.

Well let me tell you Antonio it happens all the time and it could’ve happened for us today if you weren’t such a wuss!

Relegation fodder team missing two centre backs on the day due to injury and he subs off attacking players like Porro and Dejan for defensive players, complete moron this guy, fucking sick of it just leave.
The subs were to tighten things up because Saints had far too much possession

(As I said before we even hired him; IF it led to genuine truths coming out that helped the club then I wouldn't be mad.)

If anything 'progressive' is to come from this we'll need him to have been more specific in terms of the 'crimes' the owners have allegedly committed against him that have hindered his tenure.....

.........Having such a broad swipe amounts to little more than what Chielini said about us year ago when he was trolling us after a loss aka "LOL Spurs; little club" with a vague waft of standard "I wanted more money".

TS (who as we all know love a shit-storm) have already somewhat washed some of the fuss away as it just being standard angry man, sulky Conte behavior.
More specific?

He’s just said our players are unprofessional, take the money, look for excuses and can’t handle pressure.

And he explicitly references the owner that hasn’t won anything in 20 years.

What more can he do?

The ownership stuff will grab the headlines but calling out the players is my favorite part.

For far too long Spurs have been a country club for averages to above averages players that felt it was good enough just to play and never push on to win anything.

Constantly folding in big moments only to say the same “we need to be better” bullshit in the press.

You know why this team never makes it easy? Because the opponents know we’re sort. Even down 3-1, last place Southampton kept fighting because they knew they could still get something.

Soft players. Loser mentality.

Just burn it down and get some players who want to win.

100% correct no saying he’s blameless he’s not but about stale players stealing a living and Levy getting paid a hairy fortune for saying nothing and doing nothing other than keeping the club level pegging

When you’ve been in the job for 18 months, spent 250m on 11 players (almost all of whom you chose), saying “I don’t see a team, I see 11 selfish players” is actually a criticism of yourself as manager.

He’s said that he takes his own share of responsibility but ultimately it comes down to the culture of the club. That flows from the chairman. The chairman isn’t interested in winning. Winning is not his priority.

Say whatever you want about Conte’s cautious, stodgy football, but he is a winner. Levy is a loser. One knows what it really takes to win the biggest trophies and one thinks that just hiring a winning manager and giving them Lenglet will get the job done. That is not how football works.

We had a great run last year, the team wasn't selfish then. What happened? Why did we look clueless in pre-season, why did we look clueless from the first kick of the season?

Why does he keep picking Son despite poor form, why did he do it with Emerson? Why did he not remove Kane from free kicks? Why did he refuse to use Skipp, Sarr, Bissouma throughout the season?

Why did he play Son as a creative winger instead of the run in behind and finish type of winger? Etc. etc. etc.
