Manager Antonio Conte

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Biss isn't wank, no. Well, he wasn't at Brighton - he's also injured right now.

Skipp has heart and Sarr has potential. Tell me, do Sarr and Skipp start for any other top six team? Right now?

That's why Hoijberg starts.

They may not be shit per se, but they aren't stand out starters for top teams. Ergo he has wank options.

He got injured last month, before that there's been adequate time to integrate him into the team,

The point is that Conte could have rotated more with Skipp and possibly Sarr and not run Hojbjerg into the ground, the fact we have never seen a Bentancur/Skipp double pivot yet is purely on him.

'They must be shit' doesn't cut it when Hojbjerg has produced at times nothing performances when he's played and Skipp and Sarr have come in and shown they can step up on occasions.

And if we do sack him rather than a mutually agreed termination don’t we have to give a reason such as ‘gross misconduct’?

And if we do might Levy be concerned that Conte might dispute this and cause real legal problems when we want to move on?

So long as we pay the remaining length of his contract, a termination doesn't need to be 'mutual'..... Mutual would be where typically a compromise in pay off is reached between us & Conte as both parties are amicably seeking a parting of ways (or even a full pay-off, but just with the public perception that no one party is to shoulder blame).

If we're seeking go down the Gross Misconduct path then that's equates to a typical firing in the workplace and if proven credible would negate the requirement for a pay-off as he would stand accused of having essentially breached said contract.

We don’t know but there’s a lot to consider and maybe gardening leave until his contract runs on might be the solution!

Sounds the most practical, yes.... Gets him out of our hair in the short-term and gives the breathing space to further explore whether or not he is in breach of his contract or not.... That said, you'd assume that any half decent legal team would need days at most (not weeks or months) to make that call.

Just thinking, i reckon he's been watching games whilst absolutely fucking hammered for the last 20 years.
It's amazing how many fans do so and how skewed their view of the game becomes as a result.

Next job being lined up : hope they are rolling in money (nb. No Italien club has money post covid )
Daniel Levy on the phone to Inter "you can buy him out of his contract for 75p if you do it now"

There are more qualities to being great. Holberg is a fantastic player but its his mental toughness, his fight, his attitude, his leadership, and his affect on the rest of the team that puts him into the great category for me. He can get better as well. We have seen him score dome cracking goals as well. He inspires all his team mates to be the best version of themselves.

Ok fair enough

Some great trolling

Who are you?

As sensible as that sounds, I expect football manager employment contracts have various caveats and carve outs that are incompatible with general employment. His lawyer could argue it’s not gross misconduct and indeed he was trying to motivate the players via different methods (not unheard for managers to do so in public although this was a catch all bin fire)

Mutual termination seems to be the best option and maybe he’ll go for it

In his last presser he seemed genuinely upset with his voice raising by a few octaves

Never heard him like that before so maybe he’s desperate to leave

The joke or Harry?

I'm serious that I'd be happy. We've been watching dreadful football for years thanks to Mourinho, Nuno, and Conte. I don't give a fuck if we win a match or finish midtable. I just want to watch football that's entertaining. We haven't lived up to that bare minimum standard in, what, 5 years?
Have you heard him talk recently? He’s old as fuck, not a chance he would be manager

The sharpness and quickness has long gone and he’s croaky and old

Love it if harry redknapp came in until the end of the season. Amazing he’s interested.

He’d definitely lift the squad and the fans, give levy some breathing space.

How did you manage to overtake Woolwich in the prem this year harry?

I just told them to run about a bit, told em Sandra was after their place in the squad and I was considering it, T’riffic, boys done me proud.

We love you.

I hate to say I told you so, but I have been saying he's wanted out for weeks, even months.
It's literally the only explanation for someone making the choices he's been making.
