T bf I have criticised him
A lot for our general passive play in a lot of games. However what I wanted to see from him is some anger and that Italian mentality which hopefully he could instill into our weak arse players. Hopefully this is a good sign of that Fergie mentality of not taking any shit. That is what the team should be set up to be as well take no shit. If we had that under poch we could well have won a few trophies.

If he can get that sort of performance out of the players at his disposal , just think what we could do with a few of his chosen replacements coming in and being coached his way. The summer is a defining time for Levy , back him and I believe we really are in business. Surely , we can’t let this opportunity slip away!

He's finally bringing back passing out the back since Mou and Nuno killed it.

Still using Son wrong though.

I loved Mauricio. Never loved a man in football so much.

But this man has my heart. I’m fully aware of his temperamental nature and that it could all end in a years time in dramatic fashion. But god I hope he is here for years and years. He’s fucking perfect if our bald shit head keeps him happy.

(also bald)

Conte isn't lovable compared to anyone, let alone Pochettino. He shows up at clubs, runs his mouth incessantly, wins things, and then generally departs in a huff about something or other.

But he's so obviously world class, just gotta hope that he wins us something and the inevitable parting is on neutral terms. We don't need to love him and he doesn't need to love us for this to work out extremely well.

I'd suggest just ignoring his press conferences. He's always been a nutter and says weird emotional shit. People keep saying it's about raising the level at Spurs and motivating Levy and it nicely fits in with the not necessarily inaccurate media and fan narrative that we're a cheap unsuccessful club who are lucky to have him.

But if you've followed his career, 80% of the things he's saying he also said at Juve, Chelsea, and Inter. He always wants more money and players, never feels like he's getting enough support, and just generally always has a burr up his ass about something.

Just ignore what he says and enjoy the football while you can, because the man is fucking incredible football mind and manager.

I think he’s been fairly honest, well mannered and all in all pretty decent with his comments.

Conte was clearly overjoyed when Tottenham put the game beyond doubt. And he has now shared that he took a different approach to his pre-match team talk.

“Today before the game for the first time I ask to my players I want to enjoy today, to see you play football, because I know now that the team is ready,” he said.

“It’s ready to play good football and we have the right time to memorise many tactical situations.

“We have to go better and better, but for me it’s important because you can have a training session in different ways, but the players have to see that the training session improves our performances.

“What happens here is the coach is happy because the players trust you not just 100% but 120%.”
