Right. First moan about Conte. How the fuck can he be so inflexable with formations, tactics and subs? A rigid 352 with terrible wing backs isnt working. If he has to persist try something different, maybe Moura or Bergwijn or even Harvey White who played left back a lot for the youths. He is hamstrung in centre midfield with no Skipp but again maybe switch to a 3 with Kulu as the advanced midfielder? Lastly when we need a goal why always wait until 82mins to bring on an attacking player?
He kind of gets p*ssed off that the team isn't playing to his standards and then just sits there watching the game stern faced and does nothing.... I'll love to know what's he thinking

What are his standards when not managing the best team?
Like all Italian managers the priority is not to lose. This is a weakness of his, when you are chasing a team ahead of you in the table you have to be brave. Especially when it’s so clear that opponents have completely figured out how to play against your preferred XI.
Conte prioritises the solidity of the team above all else which is why he only takes a risk when there are 5 minutes left. It’s why he plays a “natural” defender like Emerson at RWB instead of experimenting with an attacking player in that position. If we had world class players in every position that might work but we don’t.
Pretty much my thoughts on it.
I love Conte but the stubbornness with the formation is something that would only be acceptable if we had wing backs that were good enough.
Surely he can't look at these last two performances and try to carry on in the same manner without Doherty. Try a 4-3-3 or something in these last games if it suits the players better.
You don't get this guy players of the ability of Hakimi, Barella, De Vrij, Lautaro etc and he's not going to do any better here than anybody else.
I like Conte but he needs much better players than we have to make his system work. Levy needs to fund those players or we'll need a new coach.

if hes deliberately trying to get the sack hes a piece of fucking shit! him sticking with a system thats not suited to the players hes got available is costing us champions league and putting us back years...while also giving Woolwich a fucking jump start!
gone from being top scorers in 2022, to not having a shot on target in 180 minutes....all from doherty getting injured and making his system impractical with someone like emerson at the RWB slot. its actually mad how that one player taken out from the system has caused that but its cold hard facts. doherty is a proper RWB that adds an extra man to attacks, with actual quality....emerson is a RWB winks who offers nothing but dead weight and its killed us. how hes allowed 180 minutes to run through without even attempting to try bergwijn there is worrying! he must have a personal issue with bergwijn because weve had to suffer 180 minutes of emerson playing there when its clear as day not working!

It’s seems plausible that Conte is deliberating bottling Spurs CL football next year cushioning the blowback when he bounces for PSG in the summer.

I’m a big fan of Conte and really want him to do well with us, but it’s the same issues again and again. He doesn’t seem to have a plan B when things aren’t working, he doesn’t know how to play against a back 5 and he makes the changes too late.
It’s obviously really not helped by having big issues in the squad, but even out of position I don’t think Lucas and Bergwijn would have been any worse than Sess and Royal today. That pair really hampered us and were on the field far too long.
