Manager Antonio Conte

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

if that nonsense is true regarding the mbappe contract, the only manager they will get is a fucking cuck
It’s bad enough that they have effectively bought him twice — 150 million Euro sign-on fee amortized over three short seasons — without the additional rumors that he has contractually agreed veto/control over manager and squad.

PSG really are the ultimate buy high, sell low joke of a club. Sadly, their ability to print money and get UEFA to look away keeps them relevant.

yea its utterly ridiculous. let them do it, the organic clubs should all stay strong and agree not to enter them waters the sports washers are in. PSG will always struggle to win the UCL cos their league competition is too weak. madrid are absolute mugs if they offer mbappe anything close to this current contract. let him stay there and waste his career over greed and nonsense.

they got no chance of attracting a manager like conte when they got a 22 year old kid pulling strings LOL! what serious man is going to accept that nonsense.

watched the overview podcast

again they kept saying will conte stay or go and how he never stays longer then 2 yrs

nothing positive said about us at all
makes me laugh how they think chelsea will be better too, and be closer to city and liverpool. im baffled to how people think that legit business people are going to takeover a club thats been abused by sportswashing and think that they are going to maintain that artificial level they was at. very strange.

looked for odds on chelsea to drop out of top 4 earlier, was hoping to get a tasty price to lump on..found 10/11!!!!!

I thought that was likely to happen - impossible to sign up a number of top players with 5 year contracts to a club where you are manager if your contract only lasts one season.

A new contract for 2 or 3 years for Conte solves the problem.

It’s probably a complete guess by the twitter account I would think. But we have the option of another year. Surely we’d just activate that so the contract is 2 years long from now rather than commit to a longer one. Unless of course we just want to build the relationship and put it on better footing. Either is possible I suppose.

Their bastard of a chairman has his tentacles intrinsically involved in UEFA…. Brown envelopes and indirect influence galore. Bring on the Super League and leave them and City out of it, they can create their own oil league play off and take it around the world

The bookmakers know. It’s not next year when the extent of the sports washing kicks in imo, 2 or 3 years down the line when they can’t pay wages to rival the top clubs

At least ours is trying to make some moves.

IMAGINE THE MEDIA FUCK FEST IF THIS HAPPENS 😂

All the Man United pandering will have to stop before they can even start it. No doubt there's plenty of Kane and Son to United stories all ready to print to sell rags. No truth, but the United fans will buy the paper because it says they're in for them.

Good strategic move

Agree it maybe a guess on twitter.

But whilst his contract is until June 2023 with an option (hopefully in Spurs favour) for another year which gives us 2 seasons for Conte to do something, if we spend big this window and bring in 6-8 players we may well find a few players take a little time to get accustomed to PL and actually its 23/24 before Spurs really see the full impact.

And what to do in Summer 2023 when despite 6-8 players coming in this summer we will probably still need a few changes - do we want to spend much if Conte only has one more year and another manager wants a different set of players ?

So my bet would be we try Conte with another two (or even three) year contract with a one year extension, with a view that we should have him on contract for 3 years or more. Its similar to what Spurs do with players who have broken into first team and done well - frequent contract extensions.

Of course if Conte gets pissed off he may break the contract (and not a lot Spurs can do if that happens), plus he is mercurial enough to do that, but it is better to have a plan for more than one season ahead - and once we start 22/23 then it is only one season ahead.

UEFA have morphed CL into a Super League hybrid .... without the benefit of it being under clubs control, so more cash being sucked out of the game into UEFA's grubby pores.

So its useful to have Levy on the inside seeing what's going on in UEFA. And what's going on allowing PSG to bend every rule going in financial fair play .... and get away with it.

I’m sure the summer of 2023 there will be the same nonsense of Conte staying or Going. Unfortunately that comes with the package with Conte, but the main thing is he’s 100% staying for our CL campaign next season. Superb.
Back him properly and there will be no reason for him to want to leave

If given the right players he will bring us success
