Has enough changed in recent months around Covid , attendance and future club earnings that Levy feels comfortable promising a big transfer spend? Because if he whimpers come January then Conte will be out the door.

He's pretty shite, I was just musing because he's left footed and has experience in that position. Clearly he's totally done as an out an out left back, but you never really know in football. He will almost certainly get some games in that position regardless if we go 3-5-2, because we don't have the cb depth.

Gil and Lucas could potentially play as the CAM (challenging Ndombele for the slot). Gil reminds me of David Silva who was a winger in La Liga but CAM in the PL. Lucas meanwhile had his best moments of the season last year in midfield too.
Bergiwjn can't play in mid tho, so he'll have to perhaps challenge for one of the wing back spots in this system.
 
Conte has got Levy and Lewis over a barrel. He'll get nearly everything he wants Besides a bumper pay deal and long-term contracts for himself and his coaching staff, he'll demand a big transfer pot of money.

If his Chelsea 3-5-2 was any indication, Conte likes to have 3CBs as well as 2DMs. He'll have both Skipp & PEH. Moreover, he'll probably be pressing Paratici like mental to snap up Kessie, either in Jan or summer transfer window.
 
I'm so frustrated with the players that I welcome a crazy guy like Conte with open arms. He could channel fans' frustration with the players and actually assault the laziest of the bastards.

You'd assume that would be the case. Which would be terrific. Maybe finally the cunts upstairs will be putting their hands in their pockets as I can't see Conte joining without some cast-iron promises.
