If this is true, and hey lets be positive, the conclusion is clearly that fan pressure works.

But regardless, there is zero doubt that significant investment is the right financial decision for the club, the only one that wouldn’t see the value of the club decline.

Football is a trap that way and a terrible business, that’s why these guys want to create the ECL. But again, fan pressure works.

We want Dusan Vlahovic to have Sky’s money, not Joe Lewis. Fight for it.

I am not sure where Gil fits in Conte's preferred 3-5-2 and I doubt with Kane he would look to play a 3-4-3 he did at Chelsea.

I think that is the bigger issue with Gil than just his age. But if Gil does have a place in the formation I doubt him being 20 will bother Conte.

that's only half the battle, we then have to actually fucking back him in January and those signings need to be done in the next few weeks so its just a question of getting them finalised.

IF we have a big January and get Conte we could salvage this season and squeeze into that top 4.

But both things need to happen and I can't bring myself to believe it

For me, the chief thrill in having this manager - if it was only to be for 18 montths - would be that we are garaunteed to get rid of all the wage-thieves.

I've been burnt by the Conte hype before, not letting myself get carried away until he's kicking Harry Kane's arse all over our wonderfully manicured training pitches.
