I know many others have been less patient than I have, but this is the last straw for me. If we do bring in Conte as manager and it somehow goes tits up in a years time (because of a lack of investment, etc), I will be fully aboard the ENIC out train.

As for the near future, I will be happy with Conte’s appointment and will look forward to seeing serious changes both on and off the pitch. May it be so.

If he gets a tune out of this squad i shall personally 'make him a very happy man'.

But this squad broke Poch, Jose and NES. They are so good at it they don't even break into a sweat crushing managers anymore. I reckon a fait few of them will look at him (and his short contract) and fancy their chances.

Let the games begin.
I feel we've almost had enough squad turnover to get back to a young hungry squad who want to fight (Romero, Emerson, Gil, Tanganga, Skipp, Hojberg) but just need that final push to get a couple more quality players with some bollocks in and get Winks, Dele, Sanchez and the other wasters out.

I think Conte is the perfect guy to make that transition with.

One of the reasons Conte rejected Daniel Levy's approach in the summer was that he didn't want to join a club that could potentially lose their best player in Harry Kane who was linked with a move to Manchester City.

But the England striker ended up staying put and the Telegraph claims the former Inter Milan coach is impressed with Levy's refusal to sell the club's prized asset, as well as their summer additions, which has convinced him that Spurs are heading in the right direction.

Conte will be given money to spend in January, however, as he looks to put his own stamp on the team
