Manager Antonio Conte

Do any of those clubs want him?

I think he will just stay at Juve, but Chelsea look to be going for Kounde, Liverpool are set at CB and Bayern rarely make moves like that.

The good news is, like with Romero, we are set up to get quality players that the big clubs can't go for, for whatever reason. With many of the top teams being set at multiple positions and the Spanish clubs in financial trouble this is the time we should be aggressive to get players.
Chelsea want both him and Kounde, Liverpool have been looking at Schuurs from Ajax, but now believe De Ligt is a possibility and Bayern , fair enough.

But I really hope Levy isn't at his games again, it's downright easy to say "oh we'll get him for you" but not so easy to bring that player in.

As for Romero, we're still waiting to see anything about him at Spurs. His performance against Man Ure was more Sunday morning league than Premier League

I have been fine with Romero certainly haven't seen any Sunday league play from him.

I would be shocked if Liverpool went for De Ligt because they usually don't spend that much and have VDV, Gomez and Konate plus other guys they like, but they have shown they are willing to spend if they really like a guy.

Yes he is.

Anyone questioning that needs a slapping, to be frank. If Conte can't clear this mess of a squad up, nobody can. He is EXACTLY what we need (IF Levy opens the chequebook).

If Levy doesn't open the chequebook, there isn't a person on this planet who can do anything with this squad.

No debate to be had here.
The bit in brackets is the most important bit about your post though.

Levy is who we need to get rid of. Nothing will change with him there.

Conte is a side story here. Just as the 20 odd managers before him were under Levy's tenure.

You should really stop reading between the lines and read what these people actually say
There's no reading between the lines whatsoever. His words are crystal clear and not even open to interpretation.

You must secretly hate this managerial appointment, Sammy.

Everything he represents is the antithesis of what you've been promoting or defending this last decade.

His recent statements must be like a dagger to your heart.

Interesting the little shout out Conte gives the All Blacks team in that interview. It's amazing the impact their culture has had on professional sport sport

I want to see a Haka before our game tomorrow!

No better place to roll that out than Turf Moor.

I’m Levy Out
He’s bought himself some time though with Conte. But only if we back him.

I want 75% of the squad replaced.

That doesn’t mean Conte said we haven’t spent money though, you read it wrong that’s all

The problem is who he wants, who he'll get and who we can honestly bring in.

Take De Ligt for example, no doubt he is the type of player Conte would want, but can you realistically see him coming here over a Chelsea, Bayern or God Forbid Liverpool? Could we afford him? He wants the ECL, would he want to come to Spurs or Conte?

I don't think we're in a position to just say we want thereforelets go out and get...we may have money to play with. But are top players coming down from the CL to the Vanarama European League?

We aren’t going to be signing de ligt, he’d come in as our top earner and the fee would be huge. We released our accounts this week and there’s no money and the owners won’t put any in. He’s what we need but we can’t afford him. I’m sure there are other alternatives though that are better than Sanchez, Dier, rodon and Davies at centre back though. We could probably get two decent centre backs in for the cost of a de ligt.

When you say levy, I’m assuming you mean Enic as it’s all of them that’s the problem. Not just one man. If Lewis opened his cheque book for once to let the moths out we’d be much better off but he’s got no interest in that.

Yep, Lewis is always missing. Got a club cheap, it’s now worth billions on paper and yet fuck all investment or help despite being worth billions himself. For all intensive purposes we don’t have rich owners. I am more angry at Levy for Stratford, lack of vision, the money side is more Lewis as he is the rich owner.

We know that we can spend under FFP £400m, even just a £100m interest free loan combined with player sales to fund a big spend by Conte would probably fix alot of it.

If Levy stands down; we are STIll majority owned by Lewis..... And he still won't suddenly sign off on £400m of losses (see FFP "wiggle room" discussion.).

This really shouldn't need explaining all these years later.
