You're way too optimistic to be a Spurs fan....So if he thinks we’ll need another two transfer windows so we are at a level to compete, does this means he’s sticking around to over see it…….
Conte is such a complex character which is fine.
Not sure you can ever attach how long something in theory will take. It's plain daft, so him saying we need 3 transfer windows to compete is just a crock of sh!t unless he is seeking to manage expectations, including his own.
I see one out and out better squad in City.
I view Liverpool and Chelsea as having marginally better squads and think Woolwich have a squad no better or worse than Newcastle.
I put us just after Chelsea/Liverpool and West Ham just below Woolwich and Newcastle.
Of United I don't know. Let's say the equivalent of Woolwich and Newcastle but maybe as good as Liverpool's and Chelsea's because you just don't know with them.. You won't hear Ten Hag effectively saying his squad isn't good enough though. Or I doubt it.
And the top 7 will be this group in my opinion, with the league going to City, if they sort their defence, which in truth is only protected by the strength of their attack.
I have no idea if we can bridge any gap under Conte, good as he is because his model relies on solidity more than dominance, which possibly equates to the different and progressive ad valorem of a Potter or Arteta doing more with less. Not sure.
Apologies for a cryptic response but if Conte is waiting for the so called nirvana of better and proven players then he will be waiting a long time and does a disservice to the players we have.

For some reason I get this feeling that doesn’t really want to be around. His had 2 TWs and got players we think he generally wanted. Banished players he didn’t want like glc who he actually played and would have thought was a conte type player. Now his telling everyone he needs may be 2/3 windows and god knows how much money to spend. That must be music to levy’s ears. His moved the goal posts so far that unless he extends his contract and is given the money to buy ready made first trainers his gonnavdo one.
There is a certain Mr Poch who is available. You never know if performances don’t improve and results start going the way those performances would warrant ie not get lucky with oppo wasting great situations.
