His contract is until June 2023 and he is known to resign if he believes that his requirements arent fulfilled. Thats the problem, hope he stays of course.Unbeaten, up +8 points on last seasons Top4 haul, after 5 games.
And, folks are talking about Conte walking, or Levy booting him.
Give me strength.
At the moment we need to improve the shot making ability, and not keep aiming for the posts and bar in this game!I’d suggest that Conte improved the players last season with his coaching and tactical ability. Got us into fourth where we needed to be.
We’ve improved the squad over the last two windows and if he keeps up his record of improving the players, basically proving to everyone he is as good as he thinks he is, there’s no reason we can’t be looking at at least 10% more points than we had last season.
Repeat the next season and the one after (three / four more windows) and it’s open top bus time.
and Chelsea and West Ham away both out the way while our rivals have had easier fixtures so far. We've now not had a better start to a league season since 1962.
But, but, but, negativity because on Football Manager or FIFA these players should win 4-1 most games…We've now not had a better start to a league season since 1962.
At the circus, probablyWhere are those clowns comparing our football today to Nuno and Mourinho?
Because it’s true. Or you think we can close the gap to the club that has regularly ended their season with ~95 points with just two transfer windows? Now his telling everyone he needs may be 2/3 windows and god knows how much money to spend.
I don't think it's as deep as people are making it, the reason why it looks shit is because we have a lack of technicians, like any formation and tactic the style of play is fine if you have the technicians, we don't or we do but they haven't played yet, even if we 'front foot' like we did under Poch, how many times did we look turgid because we didn't have the technicians to pull off what he wanted.
Peak Conte ball looks like this, we're not doing that with a back line of Sanchez, Emerson, Davies...The two outside backs in a sense need to be playmakers and comfortable on the ball.
Romero and Lenglet will completely change this by the way.
Over on Blue Moon telling everyone where Pep is going wrong...Where are those clowns comparing our football today to Nuno and Mourinho?
Maybe you're just a moaner who thinks we still have Nuno or Mourinho in chargeI was not sure where to put this comment, is it the players or Conte ?
not sure its down to just Conte as I maoned about the same type of thing under Harry (so maybe its down to most coaches)
when you watch us it doesn't matter if its CH's, WB's or CM when they recieve the ball they look to play it backwards, when you watch Man City the CH's,WB's,CM all play forward 9/10 times
yes they are better players around the pitch,
our forwards are as good/better than most so once our CM or WB's get the ball they should be ready to push it on to the forwards
maybe its a lack of vision from the players or its just they don't look before recieving the ball
NO, maybe its just I'm a moanerMaybe you're just a moaner who thinks we still have Nuno or Mourinho in charge
its a question, I'm looking for others thoughts on why we (and most teams) do this, even under Harry I remember the comments about backwards passingI was not sure where to put this comment, is it the players or Conte ?
