I'd like to know what are the mistakes we made on the market, since conte is arrived.
in every press conference he said that we can't make mistakes.
he also can't make mistakes, like do not reach the last16 in UCL.
ok?

The mistakes he refers to are Ndombele, Lo Celso and Reguilon. Very expensive players who weren't good enough.

Just think what we could have spent that money on if we had Paratici instead of Hitchen back then.

I was not sure where to put this comment, is it the players or Conte ?
not sure its down to just Conte as I maoned about the same type of thing under Harry (so maybe its down to most coaches)
when you watch us it doesn't matter if its CH's, WB's or CM when they recieve the ball they look to play it backwards, when you watch Man City the CH's,WB's,CM all play forward 9/10 times
yes they are better players around the pitch,
our forwards are as good/better than most so once our CM or WB's get the ball they should be ready to push it on to the forwards
maybe its a lack of vision from the players or its just they don't look before recieving the ball

Strange post considering this wasn't the case yesterday.

its a question, I'm looking for others thoughts on why we (and most teams) do this, even under Harry I remember the comments about backwards passing

Teams aren't coached to play the ball "backwards all the time"..... It's a simple fact that at a decent level; players are coached to knock the ball about safely if there are no passing lanes open, in hope that cracks in the oppo begin to appear.

Even City don't try and make passes that aren't there to make.

is it just about being safe ?, and Pep want his players to take chances ?

Conte does too.... He's said as much on numerous occasions.

Romero & Lenglet are much more progressive ball-players than Sanchez & Davies.... We saw the obvious up-shot of that yesterday.

I believe he is referring to sarr, gil, udogie, spence. he would have preferred to buy ready players for an instant team.
also the declarations he made about these players were not sweet

Hmmmmmmm I don't think that's the case at all.

Including Sarr & Udogie in your comments suggests to me you're trying to manufacture your point tbh.

What he feels about Gil begs a question or two, but even Spence he's been complimentary of.

(Meanwhile Gil & Sarr were signed before he arrived anyway.)

I honestly think what he means by "club" player/decision is different to what a fair few think he means.
