Yep that's fine. Cheers.

Paraphrased from a post i saw taken from the presser fwiw :

The table is good for us but every time we play a high level game we struggle. Against Chelsea they dominated the game, at Woolwich we lost and today we lost. When the level is high we struggle. We need to work and improve, on and off the pitch. For sure because sometimes I hear that we are a title contender, we need time. In nine or 10 months, you can't go from ninth place to title contenders, especially when you finish 20 points less than the leaders.

In this type of game you need to arrive and not make big mistakes. You need to arrive with the war inside of you, ready to fight a war and you need to know at the end of the game you die or your opponent died. From the start we didn't match this aspect. We can improve and we need to continue to work. It's right with the club to analyse with the club why when the level is very high we are struggling.

Aside from a few (Romero, Kane, Deki), they are all technically inferior
Worse still, we have a squad full of dumb players, by that I mean players who have no sense of tactics, no reading of the game and reacting accordingly. Just a bunch of dumbasses who run hard and make the same basic passes.

Which is why Deki became such a fan fovourite so quickly, he seems to actually understand the game, see how it's developing, what his passing options are and makes decisions to fit the situation.

Then we have the smart but technically deficient players like PEH and Doherty, who make the right runs, try the right passes, but frequently screw them up.

Football isnt that difficult. Pass and move. Keep

Thats why I put way more respect on the craft of a guy like Sean Dyche, who for years kept Burney playing in the most competitive league in the world even when he didnt always get the best of the best or his own perfect set up.

Thats what Spurs need. A guy in for the long run that can work with the tools at his disposal whilst implementing a solid style. Need a guy with a bit of something about him that can cope without having golden toilets or unlimited funds.

Thats what Pochettino did. Even if the players werent the best, he had us playing effectively by having the players extremely conditioned, played a high line and closing down the ball very quickly and covered the most ground. Just these simple things alone allowed us to compete at the top for so long despite the lack of funds
Potter would've been better in hindsight. the Mourinhos and Contes seem out of ideas and have an element of stubbornness and ego about a specific system that they seem to refuse to budge even if it doesn't seem to be working

Our squad is beyond s**** and we should be very happy where we are. People living in the past, but Son and Kane are just not the same players. Kane pace is all gone, and he is slow as hell. Son is probably done, as his pace looks decline as well, and physically he is losing every ball.
Our MFs are all s..... and Biss so far doesn't look promising at all. Not a single technical gifted player in that midfilder. Of course we won't have a build play. Where is the guy that were saying we don't need quality CM playmaker, and that our WB will build our game... Muhahahahhaha.
Kulu is great, but he is injured and he also lack pace, which we should have on the other part of the wing, but we were sleeping all summer and just looking to make a good bargain, and it's shows.
And just like i said both Dier and Davies are bang average and even lesser than this. Perisic is 33 in a new and way faster league. Not even want to mention the other side.
Still the style we are playing is utter s...., but its also due to our lack of technical quality.
But standing deep defending and let the opposite team control the game and have like 65%+ possession and constantly shoot, not going to work ever to actually win a thing.
When i said this window was crap, people were laughing at me, now i laugh at the people claiming this was 7-10 window. Its show who knows football and who is just big mouth.

Im big Conte fan, but he did disappoint me big time this season. More with the way we are playing, not the result. Winning the league was never possible.
The problem is we are going to lose to most big teams playing this pathetically.
He has to change a lot of things, and has to do it fast.

Yes - players shat themselves.

Against a normal manure side.

Nothing special whatsoever.

All we had to do was play fucking football.

But, nope... too busy crapping ourselves becuase it's Old Trafford.

Pathetic.

You fucking go there and smash them in their fucking face!!

jesus fucking christ, I thought Deuterz Deuterz was exaggerating when he said that you structure your posts like poems.

Uhh, can you clarify? I've seen that but I've assumed that means 2023-2024 season. I would describe 2022-2023 as this season/year. But if 5th gets CL this season then great...our game vs NUFC will be very important next week (right?). We are the only team Joelinton seems to score on.
Its next season, but it wont be much easier. The rest of the big 6 have good managers who are being backed.

Probably won't lose more than 6 - 9 league games, win 22-25 and draw the rest. And to be fair it's very good considering we've got a bit of a mixed bag of players.

Davies, Dier, Doherty, PEH are squad players really, probably Bentancur and a few others too. This team isn't as good as the peak Poch one with the likes of Toby, Jan, Walker, Dembele, Wanyama, Eriksen etc. But we're getting close to it in terms of points.

Pragmatic footy, acceptable when you win, unacceptable when you lose. That's what he does but he knows (and sort of said it afterwards tonight) that we need better players to challenge for the title. If we had the likes of the above we'd get very close. How long does he wait to get them before he fucks off?
