I just wish we had someone else available to play instead of Son on the opposite side so we didn't have to over-rely on Gil being the spark and to just ask him to add to something to an attack that is already partially functioning instead.

.....To many times these young and/or lesser played lads are played with the remit of fixing things. (Also see the expectation fans are placing on Spence and the playing of Scarlet last season with a badly performing team behind him.)

Guess Richy would have been that guy if he was fit.

Still backing Conte until the end of the season, but I am wondering if he’s the guy to take us forward after that.

I saw a lot of people yesterday talking about the lack of quality and the need for a rebuild. I’m not sure if Conte is that guy or if even has the desire to undertake that project. He seems more like a manager who comes to steady the ship for a few seasons, not to completely change the squad.

That being said, if Conte is committed, I’d be more than happy for him to stay.

This next TW is huge, I need to see who comes in and what his choices are.

What he did at Inter was a big overhaul and a title in the 2nd full season.

Kinda forgot about that when I posted it lol. That being said, he’s not going to overhaul the squad in one summer like he did at inter.

I think he might be underestimating how long it might actually take to start competing.

It was more a 2 summer/1 Jan deal really.

He's already had 9 players since arriving.....

Tbh I think for project Conte to work its gonna require some faith (and "patience") from all parties.....Levy, Conte & fans .

Fans are faltering already sadly.
