Thing is these things shouldn’t be mutually exclusive. There is no reason why we can’t play better football with the players we have. Certainly we can be more aggressive playing with passion and pace. We are never gonna be a great passing team but at least play a sort of German style like Dortmund or a few other teams. We basically wave the white flag in most games. Then we actually just surrender and lie down against teams conte thinks have already beaten us. So just saying people were adamant that Eddie Howe wouldn't have a clue or the experience to take a team to the top of the PL. Newcastle win today takes them third, their team isn't a sniff against ours on paper!! Plus they play decent attacking football and seem to have more passion in half their players!

Yeah would be interesting. I always liked Howe. Open and honest and had his teams play attacking nice looking football. Would never go far at Bournemouth as he didn't have the squad or money. As people above have pointed out. Our squad is significantly better than Newcastle’s, yet they play attacking, attractive, positive football under Howe and are on the up. We’re playing backwards, negative, boring, defensive football and it genuinely makes me want to turn off the TV and spend time with my family.
Part of a manager’s job is to get the best out of his squad. He is totally incapable of doing that. If they don’t align with his system perfectly, he’s stumped.

We were not boring today, our attacking play wasn't the problem.
His obsession with Royal is incredibly frustrating, although I could see why he started him today, Royal is usually decent in defense. But today wasn’t even on Conte, we had a plan and we were fucked by lack of luck and that donkey Dier costing us another goal.
Kulusevski back should give us a boost too, I just hope Doherty makes that RWB spot his and we finally fuck Royal off to the bench.
