You seem to be absolving Conte of blame and he is far from that. The football has been terrible this season. If he stays next season perhaps Levy should put a clause in his contract whereby if the team only turns up for half the match then he gets half his pay. Then we might see some change from this bizarre pattern of just turning up for the second half

With a high profile guy like Conte you go full Conte or no Conte at all. You dont bring in a guy like Conte to tip toe around and play it safe.
Romero, Bentencaur, Richarlison, Kulusevski and Lucas have been on/off injured for the best part of this season and Son had his face smashed in.
Skipp has just come back from a long injury and Bissouma has struggled to adapt to the system.
I think what Conte is hinting at is that he is doing the best with what he has available - and raising questions over the medical staff.
Because the club doesn’t understand how winning happens.

Please come out of the past - Son is not clinical this season, but Son is also not pressing and defending as hard as in previous season. And it passes eye test + it is backed up by stats.

I agree 100% with what you said, except for last 3 sentences - I mean talking about youth, I think this was pretty much only thing that gave us some hope after trainwreck of a restart to season. Against Palace and Pompey it were youngsters who stole the show. Gil, Sarr and Skippy all came on with energy and intensity that helped us to impose ourselves and start the game more actively.
The way he had completely frozen out Sarr for first half of the season and how he is freezing out Spence until this day is fucking appalling. It deprives us of this kind of hope and it deprives youngsters progress and motivation.
Totally sucking life and joy out of everything.
Also, knowingly surrendering midfield is outrageous - specially if we know how vulnerable our backline and GK are...
Now what considers attractive football, high press and dominating - this is so so. I know you did not mention possession in your wording but often it is added to this list as well. Like having more possession is requirement to win. But that is not fully true. We could absorb the pressure and then hit with counter attacks and use cleaver passing patterns. Unfortunately we do neither under Conte this year

Kane and Son are gone probably next season, probably 10 players from Ndombele to Winks will hopefully be off our books (fingers crossed) BUT I don’t trust the club not just in terms of raw spending (less of an issue now) but in terms of support/vision. I just don’t think out club knows how to manage a squad. I look at Brighton a tiny team by comparison and see no matter what player or manager goes they can quickly bounce back, they are the sum of their parts and more so, I don’t think we are.
I wouldn’t dread Conte and Kane leaving if I have trust we would spend the money right and have a clear vision. We are a club of short term politics and tactics not long term strategy, that is our biggest weakness. We won’t make anything of ourselves until that is fixed.
