Manager Antonio Conte

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

You can not rate the guy without ranting absolute bollocks, you know.....?
Bollocks or whatever he plays the worst football we have seen in years, waits till 77th min to make a sub and it’s the shiny £60M player he wanted or the player who took place of a player (Gil) he bombed out, plays the sane dhitvformation every game and never changes tactics, players , formations or in game tweaks eg move Son to right so him and perri are not ticking up the left.
Your happy with him and his style of football then I take it. Rather talk bollocks than be happy with conte is producing.

I doubt we will sack Conte. Terminating contract due to mutual consent seems to be where this is headed.

Conte has looked defeated for quite some time. I suspect poor health and the realisation that he has failed in this job have taken its toll and he will admit he cannot see out the season and needs to rest.

Mason in till end of season. Poch come summer.

Why wait until the summer? Poch is a positive and a breath of fresh air, we should have done it yday whilst we still have things to play for

Poch is free now so those that want Poch back ( I'm not in that gang) he could be in on thursday morning if we lose on wednesday

Maybe for Poch, if it is him, he would rather wait until the summer, so he can start with a few new faces

If we sack Conte and want Poch then we need to bring him in immediately. He needs to start implementing his ideas and judging the playing squad. We will probably have to sack Paratici soon due to the corruption case so we have to have a head coach who is already plugged in to what’s going on.

You expect a manager to come into a squad with 12 games (plus CL) and no real prep time and get a completely new set of players to adjust to a new system, in-season, and get better short-term results than Conte will by finishing out the season?

New manager bounce, if it really exists, would last 2-3 games max, after that is the adaptation phase. If that takes 5 games it would be miraculously short and we'd be left with 4 ish? games of genuinely improved performance.

If we were in a relegation scrap or total freefall then maybe the gamble is worth it but given where the team actually is in the league, changing the manager now and expecting anything better than 4th at best or 8-9th at worst is fantasy.
I think the idea is to treat the rest of this season as an extended preseason, so when next season starts, we can hit the ground running - versus changing in the summer break when no players are around and you only have a handful of games against meaningless opposition before the season starts.

It's not out of realms of possibility that a new person coming in can make a few tweaks (that Conte wouldn't consider) and actually get a tune out of out players.

Yet he was the one who told us we needed patience. When he said it, I said at the time the only person who will really need patience is him. I knew he wouldn’t have it.

Whilst I agree, we aren’t far off getting top four. Do we want to rock the boat by bringing in new formations and tactics to a squad who has played a different way for 18 months. If we do that it is inevitable that results could suffer while the team get used to it. It’s a risk and one that levy will be weighing up on Thursday if we go out against Milan. If Poch is ready to jump in then things will have to move bloody quickly ahead of the forest game on Saturday.

Feels like this is coming from the top of the club. Whenever a manager appears to be off there is always some story about training to hard or training to easy.
