Manager Antonio Conte

Conte is a great manager but it was never going to work at this club. He wants to be the best and our chairman isn’t bothered about that, an explosion was inevitable.

I still have a fondness for him, despite how it ended. That 3-0 against Woolwich was something special. His first season was truly incredible, I don’t think any other manager would have achieved that 4th place finish and he certainly would be getting more out of this current squad than Ange.

Played 3 at the back to cover our defensive weakness. His Napoli team plays 4 because he trusts them
Hoddle even said Conte feels he cant play 4 at Spurs because the oppo would open us up.

He got 4th place with a shit team. He fell apart in the second season but everything he said about the players and club was right.

Since then we have become even worse. But weve got our Tottenham back, whatever that means.

Mate look at my posting history . I saw through Postecoglou pretty early. I'm also avowedly Levy out. Antonio Conte didn't get much wrong...the man is the most avowedly southern Italian man there is. Half my family are Italians, he wouldn't stay in London. We got unlucky with the bereavements he suffered. Bloke needed home his wife kids and comforts.

It's a shame it all fell apart for him here. The bigger shame is that Levy didn't throw the kitchen sink into Project Conte, might have helped him to stay and win something with us. Maybe not. We'll never know.

Still, who needs a manager that is able to win the Premier League and Serie A? We'll go with the guy who won the league with Sydney Harbour U15s girls reserve 5-a-side team...in his second season of course.

He had an awful squad of players to work with , Kane, son , kulu and bentancur were quality , the rest bang average . Getting us 4th was a great achievement but he’s not a Spurs manager , the home game against Milan in the champions league was almost a sackable offence !
