Uh he’s nowhere close to as good as you said he was though, which is the point. Gray might not ‘fail’ but I doubt he’ll be whatever you think he will.

Yeah I’m not revisiting that. We finished 17th but won a cup competition. Look at who we actually beat. Look at the terrible side we played in a final. Cups are cups.

Couldn't agree more. Of course it's okay to have an opinion on players, managers and tactics, but even the most knowledgeable of people get it wrong or can change their minds about stuff.
Surely the only thing that matters is the success of our Club. Heck. I would always want to be wrong if that was the case.

Fundamentally he's not long turned 19 and has had a bunch of minutes in a year that's been mental. I'd much rather give the benefit of the doubt to him, don't see any players at that age in the premier league starting 70 percent of a teams games out of position.

Hopefully this season Frank has a pathway for him and we seem to have done all we can to stop the centre back crisis from repeating itself.
 
Nobody can make a firm judgement on him yet , young kid , first season in prem but a huge season ahead and that’s mainly down to the price tag for me . We can’t afford to pay £40m for a kid that takes 3 years to settle . I thought he was a decent centre half and did well in the absence of Romero and VDV but he’s not challenging them for a starting place , my concern is I’ve seen nothing to suggest he can play right back and he looked completely lost in midfield , albeit ( who didn’t ) . You usually see something in a player to make you think he can make it but I’ve not seen anything yet . Let’s hope Frank can get something out of him .

‘I’m going to be insufferable when you’re WRONG!!! But then if I AM WRONG then I get to say you’re just a meanie about a SPURS player!!’

No lose position because either you’re right or you’re the Top Spurs Fan and they’re a Meanie. But I know your twelve brain cells struggle with these kinds of obvious situations.

There is no way my brain cells are in double figures after all my years of self harm.

I'm really not sure why this is an argument you're going all in on.

No Spurs fan wants 'I told you so' when something turns out shit for the club. Of course those saying that in troubled times will get abuse.

'We are shit and you were right about it. Congratulations on being right about us being shit!' just doesn't work.

Especially on here!
