Gray last played any run of games as a CM for Leeds u18's - didn't play any games as a CM for Leeds senior side only played RB and a couple of games at LB. under Ange played CB/RB/LB and I think one game at CM ?
So Frank will take a look at him to see what his best playing position(s) are - some players are good playing all positions (ie very versatile which managers like) without being great in one position.
Gray played more midfield minutes for Leeds than any other position.
Frank wanted him as a CM based on that and if you look at him physically, he’s built like Norgaard but twice the technician
And some people here think we should send him on loan...
Frank name checked him and wanted to break Brentfords transfer record on him.
If they are thinking he’s going on loan, I don’t know what to tell them
played CM against the chavs in a cup game and played well.

No he can be loaned, that's not a slight on him. He needs mins. If we are going to act like a ECL team we should bring in two elite center midfield players. Sell Bissouma. Then this child can get some rhythm in his game. He was like all the others Sarr, Porro, Udogie thrown under the bus of an utterly clueless coach playing g an incompressible system. I think he will prove a sound investment there's no hurry just like Moore if anything we need to slow down let them grow naturally.And some people here think we should send him on loan...

Need some kid of ray gun so we can zapp him and have the 2-years-more-development version of him that we need him to be NOW.
He will play CL and PL and look like an absolute boss this season.
We should bring a top level #6 to replace Biss and Gray can rotate with them like Bergvall and Sarr will rotate with Bentancur.
I’d sell Bentancur as well if we could get another top level CM but that won’t happen and even in that situation, Gray would be here and playing.
Gray is probably the best placed player we have for a breakout this year. Hes built perfectly for Frank’s double pivot #6

And if he doesn’t go the way you think, as many of our players have, anyone who is smug with you about it will be called not a spurs fan for ‘revelling’ in one of our players not making it..
The only spurs players who didn’t make it were players I didn’t rate like Werner and Hojberg
And I never celebrated that. I’d much prefer to have been wrong and they were amazing.
Anyone ‘reveling’ in a Spurs player not being good enough is likely not a Spurs fan. Thank you for clarifying.

You thought Bentancur was better than Rice and there’s a million other examples of you insanely overrating our players .. which is fine you’re a fan but the whole declaring how smug you’ll be if you’re right and then if someone points out you were in fact wrong you call them gooners is always a good laugh to me.
Maybe don’t assume you’ll be right on this one (if all our players got as good as you predict we would win everything) and just be smug when it actually happens…
