Player Archie Gray

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Games like yesterday are a true test for athletes and leaders.

And while overall it was extremely grim, then Archie absolutely stood out.
Showed that he cared and was up to fight. Even if it was often him against 2 or 3 Palace defenders.

If only there were 10 more players with that kind of mindset, we would not be talking about relegation.

Very well done and I hope that the fanbase will value that kind of performances fairly!

He's a bright lad and comes from a proper footballing family, generations teaching him how to play and behave.
Just has to keep playing in the midfield for the rest of the season because he's only going to get better.

He was literally the only good thing to come out of last night and that's horrific in itself.

Whatever happens this season, I want us to return to having a young, British spine who play with heart and understand the importance of what they do, for both the club and the fans.

I feel a bit like Sugar and his Klinsmann rant saying that but I'm actually tired of filling up with foreign mercenaries who have no attachment to what the game in this country is all about.

I'm still angry about last night but it feels like too many of our squad only play for themselves and aren't interested in battling when things aren't going well.
Bergvall can't get back soon enough for me because while he isn't a Brit, he has that fight and desire and he an Archie have the perfect skill-sets to compliment each other.

I'm not a massive Gallagher fan but I'd like to see Archie, Lucas and Connor as a midfield 3 because they will all play with heart.

If we could add some genuine champo level quality no8 to that trio, and get at least one of madders and kulu back to their best, then we'd have a midfield that could dominate in the Championship

If we do go down, it will be interesting to see who goes. There are obvious ones in Romero,Micky,Vic and Porro.
What a tosser Porro has turned into by the way.
I think Maddison will stay. I think he would enjoy leading us back up.
We really can not sell those younger players like Gray and Lucas . Mikey and Vuskovic will be coming back .
We will get some good offers for those younger players. Not sure our bosses have the guts to refuse them.

I think they should be very cautious about selling a good player that they couldn't attract to a champo club. I mean this in particular with reference to Bergvall, Gray, Vuskovic, Moore etc.

If we do get relegated, it's imperative that we keep hold of Bergvall, Gray, Moore and Vuskovic and build a team around them.
Get rid of the fancy Dans and build around the hard working young talent because they'll have the fight to get us straight back up, I honestly don't think the likes of Romero, VdV, Porro, Vic and Muani will want anything to do with us.
Bissouma and Bentancur will want out too, as will Dragusin, especially with his gob shite of an agent.
Spence will probably be off too.

I think Richy and Dom would probably stay, Gallagher too and as you say, Madders will and probably Kulu as he'll feel he owes us after this year.
I think big Kev would stay and maybe Udogie but not too sure about him.

It will have to be a full and proper rebuild, a totally committed clean sweep of the mentally weak players and build around the commited and determined youth talent we have.

I can't even bring myself to think about being relegated yet.
I know it's a possibility but my ADHD is making me ignore it! 🤣
It’s constantly on my mind. Woke up and there it was in my head. Strange that last night I wasn’t nervous and sat calmly and watched it unfold. Have I accepted it? If nothing improves in next two games I would think they will get rid before the international break. First game after the break is Sunderland away on April 11th, a good
5 weeks away. Poss another couple back by then. That’s the start of the last 7 games.
Cannot imagine a Redknapp and Sherwood duo riding to the rescue (on Jukebox Man) but stranger things have happened. Isn’t Rafa Benitez currently unemployed.
