Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

He has to play CM, far too much talent to be a CB.

IMO he's like a Declan Rice but with actual elite footballing ability.

He has a very high ceiling and you want a talent like this dominating games in the middle of the park, going forward to score goals, not just defending.

He would be able to play CB to a high level if required but just feel it would be a bit of a waste.

He will eventually, he's playing as a CB out of necessity.

Nothing wrong with playing as a CB now anyway as far as his long term prospects, you get better coaching that way.

It's clear you need a bit of sign posting so in the future I'll make sure I explicitly state when I am talking about a players future rather than the current situation, to help you out.

Yes please

If you keep it up in the Ange thread as well so we can tell if you're posting out of emotion or bullshit, put a disclaimer on the post for the rest of the forum, cheers.

Oh look, apparently all the Ange posts are bollocks now because we achieved a rare victory. You never learn do you. Let's wait and see if we can string a few wins together in the league before we start pretending Ange is actually any good. He's still on the verge of the sack and if we get turned over in Anfield, last night will actually mean fk all outside of a few of our young players impressing.

Anyway, I am mostly posting out of knowledge and onions, so I am happy to label for you (and you are definitely the one most in need) when it's bollocks or emotion but it'll be a rare occurrence.

Hey Aphid-Still pushing for Ange to be sacked then?

Yes plebby.

I still want to see Ange sacked. Only a clown would think last night makes up for all the shite results we have seen under Ange over the past 18 months.

This isn't the thread for that discussion though.
That's right Aphid, its the Archie Grey thread. You know that's the player who has come out and voiced his trust in Ange, stating he is the primary reason he transferred to Spurs!

That's brilliant Pleb. You have such a way with name calling, really is fascinating.

Gray can say what he wants, Ange still needs to get results. Let's not forget where we are in the league, and only a clown would think where we are right now is acceptable. One win last night does not make up for that, we aren't even through to the next round.

We can enjoy the win, but don't get silly.
