Frank wanted him at Brentford didn’t he? I think Frank has a very good eye for a player , wonder how involved he was in the Kudus signing ?
We matched Brentford's offer. I guess they thought he had a higher market value than that. Time will tell obviously. Think he should've went on a loan this year though playing DM. Leeds would've made sense for everyone.

With all due respect to Brentford, it's easier to bleed in younger players there than here. He looks like he's got something in his locker and there's a player there for me.

Needs more games. In danger of getting lost amidst Palhinhas to-be-expected perfect fit at CDM in our midfield.
I have confidence Frank is aware of this, but he does need to be aware of this.

Given how healthy and robust Palhinha has looked we should really be looking at giving him a 2nd half of season loan to get game time.

Eh the games are about to start coming fast, there will be injuries, there will be opportunity.

We always say this early in the season. By December we’ll be debating whether he should be filling our injury void at CDM, CB, or RB.

This.

Also people want to have 2 (sometimes even 3) players for each position, and then are freaking out when someone misses matchday squad (btw these days you should be able to have those 12 players on the bench, not sure why PL sticks to 9).

Not sure what Bentancur did tonight that AG doesn’t give you but Archie would pass it forwards as well
The possibly one and only thing I like about Bentancur is he doesn’t shirk his runner

He’s actually defensively quite astute

And I’m not sure Archie is …. Seems a bit half sharp

But he won’t be any worse picking the ball up and getting it forward

I mean that’s almost impossible

he has to be given some games

He looked very good in his last start for us. He absolutely should be setting a personal goal of trying to beat out Bentancur in the rotation this season. Shouldn't take too much.

Leave it out. Bents wasn’t amazing. But he is still a far far better player than AG at the moment.

Take away the price tag and English tax and you’d never say AG should start given what he’s shown so far in his spurs career
Sure, since he's had to play every position except his actual (number 6) position under a bumbling idiot of a manager with zero coaching skills?

Of course a seasoned vet playing in his preferred position would look better. I'd look better (if I could run for more than 20 minutes of an EPL game without huffing and puffing).

The obvious answer here is that the people saying one of those things are not the same people saying the other, for the very small amount of overlap that there inevitably is, the obvious reason is that they're idiots.
