He gave him praise for scoring and providing a cross to Tel (tbh that cross imo wasn't even good but he played some exceptional forward passes that game imo).
Him and Sarr were poor for the goal though, what does him being a kid have to do with that?

Blimey tough crowd. I'm not seeing Archie Gray amongst the multitude of problems we have at the moment. He's a decent footballer who has done pretty well over 2 seasons under terrible management in a basket case environment....at 19. There is a player there given a bit of proper coaching and a half decent side. How good we dont know yet.

End of the day, he’s 19 and he’s playing well. That’s a good thing. We don’t have many good things going on right now
I think I gave him a 6 vs Newcastle...after commenting during the game that he & CG were the only ones worthy of the shirt. Also said he did well for the goal and pass to Tel, which woulda been an assist if that French nugget was the gem a certain someone claims he is ("gonna score 10 in the league season").

Looking back over the last couple of seasons there are a lot of things wrong with how the club has been run by the owners, how the club has been let down by managers, how the team has been wildly inconsistent but mostly shite, how some players have shown a terrible attitude, how some players are just not good enough, and so on.
In the middle of all of that, I find it very hard to take a negative view of this kid. He has a great attitude. He has talent. He is barely out of diapers, and there is a lot of potential still untapped in his game. Archie Gray is not remotely close to being a problem. If he continues on his current trajectory, he will be a very important member of the next manager's squad.

To me Gray is the modern day utlity player. Servicable i a variety of roles, but doesn't excel at any. Will be a good squad player, but if you want to challenge, he won't be in your starting 11.

A fine example for Romero and the rest of the squad to follow is 19-year-old midfielder Archie Gray.
He was Tottenham’s player of the year for me last season and delivers whenever or wherever you play him.
Gray is a future Tottenham captain and everyone should be looking to him.
He puts on a performance and shows commitment and desire whether at right-back, centre-back or in midfield.
Speaking of making up crap. Do you have this ocean of readily available data you said you had, that explicitly showed that he was one of the Worst midfielders in the league?
It as an awful pass, that if he’d just been slightly composed and hit at the right pace would have been a great chance, but he completely over hit it and made it virtually impossible to control shoot.
And I’m not a fan of Tel either.
