Player Archie Gray

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Kid was excellent tonite.

Deserves to play alongside a proper beast next season.
i think he needs to be in a midfield with bodies around him not a 2, he can get bits of play going with one twos and stuff but needs players close by for that.

we need a huge sort out in the summer regardless, serious lack of quality in a lot of areas...pretty obvious when youre in a relegation fight aint it.

Hopefully, those who seem to love writing off youngsters before they even had a chance to show what they can do will learn from this.
(They won't! 🤣).

"I just don't see what he's good at".
Probably the same folk who used to hate Carrick too.

Bergvall and Gray are going to be one of the best midfield partnerships we've had for a long time.

Always had the skill and technique, but was probably initially restricted by his own inferiority complex of being a young boy playing in the PL with the big boys.

Now he is seen as a first teamer, he has shed that inferior mentality, playing with more authority and thus allowing him to express himself with more confidence and showcase his natural abilities

wonder if he asked for the 14 shirt.

last night should be the making of him now, hes shown his ability. needs to be our main midfield link now, go and get the ball and get things going. hes technically clean already, he could be an absolute joke in a few years. need to put quality around him, dont want him following in the footsteps of the last player who wore that shirt....

He will be captain at some point.
He has had to grow up incredibly quickly due to the 2 year injury list and having to play in various positions.
Its a brilliant way to learn your trade in many ways.

He's what, a fourth generation player? He probably has the best possible support system in the regards to advice and wise heads to lean on as well. Which probably helps explain how he has handled it so well.
