Ange interview yesterday

"alot of these players haven't played alot"

What, under one week ago against Palace?!

Fucking hell.

Excuses excuses excuses.
And whose fucking fault is it if they haven’t played a lot? He’s such a fucking twat, somebody needs to slap him.

What the fuck are the rest of the club’s staff doing while he spouts utter bollocks on near daily basis?

We must have the most feeble back room staff, they’re all too frightened to challenge him about the fucking nonsense he keeps talking.

I thought Kinsky, Danso and Son did alright last night.

Mikey Moore looked lost and was swatted aside on several occasions. Archie Gray looked out of his depth; as he has done every time he has played in midfield. Gray is never a 40 million pound player. Whoever sanctioned this deal has cunted us over again.

Tel is not a player Spurs should have loaned in and definitely not a player worth signing. Got bullied and eventually started looking for favours off the ref. Doesn't have the minerals for the Prem.

Bissouma should never play for Spurs again.

Worried about Spence. Showed sustained determination to break into the team. Has gone the way of other talented players like Bentancur and Maddison in recent weeks. Clearly knows he has no chance of playing when it matters under Ange.

Get rid of Ange and Spence might well improve

Any fan that thinks a win next Wednesday will salvage our season speaks volumes for frailty of the fanbase.

United if they win plan a BBQ and no parade, the correct way to treat the EL and the achievement all things considered.

It's not about them winning so much, because by their standards they haven't.

It's about them and especially their manager recognizing just how piss poor they are, on the other hand Aussie Joe just thinks we have been unlucky and he's been dealt a bad hand.
This season is a total cluster fuck, and Ange needs the boot whatever happens but I don't entirely agree on the idea of not celebrating a trophy

United are doing it this way because they're pretty much cutting back every single expense in the book and making Levy look extravagant. Winning trophies at United is also just the norm, this would be their third in three years.

If we won our first trophy in 18 years and our first European trophy in 40 years and we don't even do a parade for the fans to celebrate or try and pretend it hasn't happened then it'll all feel a bit pointless.

We are a club so starved of success that we need to build and feed from something.

You can still celebrate winning a trophy, even Jose said winning that League Cup at Chelsea was huge because it meant the players who experienced that high wanted it more and more. If we win a trophy and tell the fans and players to kill the buzz, then I can't see how it helps.

Ange is gone either way probably. Don't let him overshadow what could be a huge moment.

I didn't do a pre match post or a post match post , I left it too late to get ready so didn't have time to do a pre match post , and it took me 5hrs to get home from the game and so I was in too shitty-a-mood to do a post match post . I haven't had a chance to see the game back , but from what I see Son looked good and sharp , Reguilon was also playing well considering his contract ends in June .

The Game We played better than we did against Palace that's for sure , we even had a few shots , but the discussion in the minibus up to the game was all about Wednesdays game and that the Villa game was just an inconvenience in our build up to the Europa League Final . The songs - We were in good song , but were being drowned out by the very loud Villa fans who were really going for it , and the home advantage showed in their gameplay . We had an early chance saved , obviously if that goes in it's a different game . We went in 0-0 at half time which gave us some hope - but that was taken away about 15mins into the 2nd half 1-0 Palace . Well I thought that the Villa fans were loud but they went up 10 notches when they went 1-0 up . We were singing when there was a break in the Villa songs (few and far between). We sang "we lose every week , you're nothing special we lose every week" . Then about 20mins from time they scored again . We sang "it's only 2-0 - how shit must you be" , it's only 2-0 . They started singing Your support is fucking shit" . And then they sang "You're fuckin shit" - our fans started waving £50 notes at them . This seemed to infuriate them which made me laugh , so it did it's purpose .
Jeez I hope it's been worth conceding games and keeping our best players fit for the Final . I'll do a pre-match Post for the EL Final on Wednesday , I'm watching in the Tottenham Hotspur stadium - they're putting screens on the pitch to watch it live . I wasn't at the CL Final , I was on holiday - "I know" , how could I book a holiday when there's a cup game . In my defence I didn't see us getting past Citeh or getting past Ajax . I haven't booked a holiday since .
I'm really looking forward to seeing us in the Final . We have every chance of getting the EL Cup in the trophy cabinet..........Yid Army

Wrong about Gray, he was trying to cover his position and do Sarrs work for him. Not Grays fault, he was overloaded

What other option do we have at 10?

At least he was able to keep it in tight spaces and break us out on a few occasions
Why do you and others go o about who plays this so called '10' position?

Just pick 11 players to get the job done, with some degree of clarity about where they should play.

It's not as though assigning a player to various positions has made much difference all season.

Posters getting wrapped-up in knots.

United are zombies under almorim. We surely will win wednesday. Im relatively confident.

It's a 50:50 game. For different reasons both teams can be considered poor this season, but no way is anyone telling me the respective players are as bad as their performances. I won't accept that.

Winning becomes a habit, as does losing, and that evaporates confidence. That's evidently occurred for both sides.

I think United's season is worse because they have changed manager, and did spend a fair bit in the summer, but that will count for nothing on Wednesday.

I think you or anyone who thinks we just show up and win, because of how United have plajyed at times this season is forgetting the dross we have dished-up.

Absolutely.

I think it's understandable that at the moment a lot of fans are possibly in two minds about how they maty feel on Wednesday, but as the game approaches I am sure many will start to separate their thoughts on a transient manager, who is here for a fleeting moment and what for most of us is a lifelong passion.

If we win and fans choose not to celebrate, then it's time to call yourself something different.

That’s nice and all that but players usually play in a specialized position.

Maybe it’s more of a role than a position but fans will always discuss what job a player does in a team and coaches will always pick players in a formation.

Udogie plays on left should I stop talking about him as a LB?

How will you be celebrating if we win?

I'll be watching the game at home on my own. I'm unsure what I'm expected to do to celebrate.

Tears at some point and I am not that emotional. Relief. A late night meal. Who knows.

If you support Spurs mate, you will find a way to celebrate.

We should not look upon this game any differently to the one we had 6 years ago, which is in evidence, because of overhanging feelings about the manager. Postecoglou is incidental, which is how I am treating him.

This is all about our club.
