Last season, his first with a new club/manager/style (and also the first for the club with said manager/style), he produced 15 goal involvements in the PL. This meant he was directly involved in +20% of the goals scored in our joint 2nd most prolific season since 1984-85. It also meant that he was in the top 25 players in G+A.

I really don't know how many times that has to be pointed out. In addition to that output (again, goals are the way matches are scored lest anyone forget) he's always tracked back well and contributed significantly off the ball.

The only thing he doesn't do at a high level is dribble at players, and semi-regularly he's guilty of a heavy touch.

I think people have also lost touch of what a £50M player is in the current market. If he produces the form from yesterday consistently across the season he'll be top 10 in G+A (where I've bet he'll be) and pushing, if not in, the top 5. It would mean hes basically taken over Son's place in the attacking heirarchy. At 23 years old. In today's market, that would make him a £75M+ player.
There was a distinct lack of effort off the ball when he first arrived here which was one of my biggest gripes with him. My issues with him were never about goal contributions. I hope he continues to play how he has played the last 2 games now as he looks a far better player than what he did at the start of the season. Also would like to see him be more clinical and convert more of the other opportunities he's getting and not just be happy with scoring the one goal.

I don't think hes satisfied, he was pressing hard for a 2nd goal on the weekend. He keeps getting himself into so many good positions, eventually there's going to be a deluge of goals. Expect he'll net a hat trick at some point this season, and a couple braces. Just too many quality chances too often for him not to.

Hats off to the lad - hes shown more spirit and balls than I thought he had the last few games. Needs to continue this, stay angry and focussed and keep improving.
I think Ange deserves a lot of credit here as well. SO many including me were asking for him to be dropped and he kept faith with him, now reaping the rewards.

Every single one of those Spvurmin who've sent this lad threats and spat acidic vitriol at him are being made to look even bigger fuck weasels than before.

Where is Mick Cooper Mick Cooper now?

He was telling everyone this kid was trash…stick to your guns Micky, don’t let all these goals put you off your game.

He doesn’t do anything apart from score and assist…
