If you watch the trajectory of the ball it was almost deffo going wide.
Watched it loads and cannot see a touch. But I could not give less of a shit. He deserves the goal.

fair play, he actually showed some fight today. still not good enough though, just doesnt know what to do with the ball when hes wide, doesnt dribble cleanly enough with it at pace to be a winger.

I agree with this, and I give Brennan almost no regard as a winger.
He made the run and ultimately the goal, even if he did incredibly knock it almost directly backwards with his touch. Unbelievably good luck for it to bounce of his marks arms directly forward back on target for the winning goal. It's insane, truly
not at this stage of his career, hes not going to start dribbling like kvaratskhelia through a bit of coaching. hes not a winger hes more of a weird forward.
but like you say for another day. did have a hand in the goal even if it was an OG he was in the right place to cause panic. he also showed some aggression today instead of just letting them have the ball easy.
