I'm not a huge fan of Johnson, but this is what I'm hoping for.
11 goals and 3 assists in the league last season, think he can bring that up to 11 goals 11 assists next time which is an attainable target for him

I doubt that, he doesn't have the attributes do be a very good player. But I'm ok with giving everyone another year, as they deserve to have a proper manager.
If anything; his goal tally is more likely to increase than his assists......
He's not creative.
The Ange system was all about Johnson to score, mate, I doubt he will repeat those numbers again.
8 goals and 3 assists in his one single season in the prem at forest would suggest it's not all down to ange's system
That season he took penalties.
The timing of his runs and reading of the game in those situations is phenomenal - barely ever offside - that isn't luck -
That’s a stupid opinion. Ange’s system was basically built to showcase Brennan’s talents at the cost of all others. The entire way we looked to attack was in the low cross/back post stuff he excelled in. The problem is he’s a complete passenger in build up so we’d go stagnant for long periods as well.
But in terms of production Ange absolutely maximized Johnson. I think Johnson has peaked and we should be actively seeking to give him less influence and responsibility, not more.

10 assists in the league the season before, our joint assist leader.
He was asked to play differently last season and focus more on being in positions to score goals. I don't really get why people struggle to understand that.

Ok, we’ll see. Of course he only had 7 expected assists that season (so not that high, Cole Palmer got 1 more with 13 expected last season, a clinical teammate helps) but if you think this one note wide player is creative then go ahead.
Another bet would be fun. He won’t hit 10 assists next season.
