Ex-Spurs Player Brennan Johnson

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Its called a Levy tax. Years of acting the ass eventually drove every selling club to spite us.

I truly believe the wisdom in what you are saying.

English football got rid of Levy by ignoring the cunt.

His treatment of mangerial appointments and transfer strategy alienated Spurs from all other English clubs.

People talk in every community.

My guess is Daniel was only popular in his own boardroom by the end.

There are gaps in his game, which existed before us. This means we have not developed him. But it also means that with two years experience and a medal to his name he certainly should not be sold at a loss. And yet here we are flogging £15-£20m under our purchase price. Judged against the rest of the market this makes no sense whatsoever.

And even less when his replacement is Kudas who is never going anywhere near his level of goal return, cost more etc. Very odd deal this one.

That’s what the market rates him and I agree. We overpaid, he hasn’t developed at all. He is what he is at this point which is a player that can do an important thing well but does nothing else.

Good managers improve players especially players like Brennan. He obviously has certain talents & knows where the goal is but hasn't had the advantage of a manager who can improve a player. Thomas Frank is not the man to improve players !!!

He was used optimally by the manager last season and was our top scorer, plus scored the vital goal in the Europa. But its clear Frank doesn't want him so its neither good for him or us for him to remain. It would not surprise if he finds form with another manager as a second striker.

He didn't score - it was an own goal.
And even if he had have been the last Spurs player to touch it - it was a miss kick.

I'm not a great fan of Johnson, but he's really not so bad he couldn't be getting a better split of minutes with the enigmatic Kudus. Even if he's mostly a counter-running forward, he still could be made use of doing that down the wing.

Frank has shown very strange attachment to certain of his starters, which has not really served us all that well so far.

Brennan Johnson's goal late in the first half proved the difference in Bilbao as Ange Postecoglou's side won the UEFA Europa League.

Brennan Johnson bundled in the only goal of a tense 2025 UEFA Europa League final as Tottenham Hotspur ended a 17-year wait for silverware with victory over Manchester United in Bilbao.

And we all know the papers are full of shyte.

Two major moments sum him up for me. The goal scoring instincts which were shown in Bilbao and him pulling out of a challenge to stop Ipswich scoring last season. Absolute no bravery and if a player isn't willing to try and stop the oppo scoring then I genuinely don't want them anywhere near our club
