Ex-Spurs Player Brennan Johnson

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Muani got 15 in 32 games for Frankfurt during 22 / 23.

He also got 8 in 16 on loan at Juventus last season.

There's a very long list of rather crap PL CFs who have similar records in other, slower, leagues.

We could very much do without a reincarnated Les Ferdinand, contributing single figure goal returns for a lot of outlay. I've said it a few times, but I just don't see Scarlett looking worse with the same amount of game time. He feels like a West Ham sigining.

Fair points filled with logic....following the same theme I'd add it's probably a prudent time to do a deal for him whilst there are interested parties circling around a player who is fit and not being used.

Yes, I would agree with that, but only on the basis that we bring someone in.

I don't think it's as simple as some suggest about Johnson not playing so what's the issue, when we have won 2 PL games in 10. That's a bit of a contradiction.

If we are moving Johnson on, then it's Dr Necessitor that we bring a player deemed to be better into the discussion for a starting place.

I mean;

What are you seeing from Muani?

I've watched loads of players at Spurs over the years and Muani clearly has something.

6'2" , strong, competative, decent first touch, can run at players and beat a man, good in the air and can score a goal.

At 27 he is at his peak and needs a settled home.

Who would you prefer?

No, not the coaches cup of tea. He seems...err how can I put it, a bit of mouse don't think Enrique likes him. Wanted more ego look at what he has done with Dembele.

The modern (utterly misplaced quote from Gilbert Enoka which seems to have become Choir boys only) isnt something the Spaniard buys. In hindsight how good would he have been ( Paratici pick Levy wanted Ange). He would have been brilliant for Spurs we need winners and a bit of ego not fake hard men and mummies little soilders. No dickheads indeed:Zlatan, Ballotelli , Best, Rooney , Costa, Pepe, lamela, Rafael van der vart, Gatuso every one of these dickheads improves us.
My kingdom (it's not big anyway) for a prime Balotelli. Fucking maddening player, but how impressive he could be. Made for Spurs.

Speaking of strikers in that era, always wanted Dzeko. Wasted his best years at City as a bench player.

Depends on the circumstances.....ideally the best way to proceed is to keep until a replacement is secured but that may not suit a prospective buyer.

He can score a goal against his parent club.

He's done absolutely nothing otherwise. So I prefer players who can score a goal, and not do soldado-esq things in the 6 yard box

4 1/2 seasons / 189 apps / 72 goals / 28 assts >>> Countless trophies.

Hardly a waste.
Averaged something like 40 minutes per appearance. Goal tally would have likely been been higher at any club not City where he could have started more regularly. That was my point.

Yes he made a lot of money and won 4 purchased trophies. I didn't say he should feel it was a waste. But he deserved more playing time than he was given there.

Thing is mate Ive been looking . The market for actual centre forwards is utterly crap. I dont know where he is seeing these upgrades, Seriously look at United spending 78 million on Sesko and Hojland. Arse 80 Gyökeres, Liverpool 's 100 million on Isak looks sensible. Then the tier under is utter trash Brereton Dias levels of gash, Vlahovic and Scamaca. Id really hold off on making the RKM call until we give him every chance to settle and get games exactly down the middle with Richarlison behind him. The alternative is the shocking 80 million gambleof Samu Aghegowa...soon to be known as Temu Aghegowa 😔

What I have seen was a clearly unfit player, in his first 5-6 appearances, steadily improve, as his fitness level increased and he shrugged off injuries.

The negative stuff I have noticed was a relucatance to release the ball, to his team mates, when an obvious pass was on, in preference to going it alone.

I think Muani has clear ability as a player and if he can settle in, to a predictable Spurs front 3, could build an understanding with the likes of Kudus, Kulu and maybe Xavi over time.

He has quality but I am still unaware of how much Muani would cost Spurs.

Any ideas?

On the contrary, that ratios out at 1 g / per 152 mins... A strike rate that would likely drop in a lesser team.

A lot more top STs around back then too; so less chance of hopping to another elite club.

....................In his subsequent seasons as Inter #1 he scored 13 in 36 and 9 in 33 in Seria A; which kinda backs that up.

For a supposed #2 ST he got a lot of game-time thanks to the frequent injuries of Aguero.

Good player though... Not disputing that.

Are you hoping he invites you round for Sunday lunch one day , he most likely won’t unless your his son . Don’t forget it’s BYOB at Chez Daniel allegedly

I think we will all agree that to do enough to prove yourself you have to play? Tel has played just eleven PL games this season many as sub and scored four goals, Odobert sixteen PL games, again many as sub with just one assist.

Odobert was the best player on the pitch at Palace, RKM is being played on the fucking wing? He was superb against PSG and in several games this season, has been injured and has had little support.

All three need a run in the team, and for the life of me I can't understand why Odobert and Tel can't get a look in on the left wing, it seems to me that Muani is played there just to satisfy the club for his loan payments. He scored ten in twenty two games at Juve last season, and the only way you lose that return is to move to Spurs, and get played out of position.

He would be insane to want to stay with this shitshow.
They are certainly not being used enough.
Agree with you
