I hope (and assume) he'll get a great, and deserved "Olé Olé" reception when he inevitably returns (to score) against us!!

He goes with everyone's best wishes I imagine.... as well as a slight sigh of relief for some, if we're being honest.

Best outcome all round I reckon!

Olé Olé!

Didn't think he would end up going there given the uncertainty about Glasner but if glasner stays there Johnson could do very well for them.
It's rare a move suits all parties but genuinely believe this does.
Best of luck kid

Given that Spurs still owe Forest £35 million, the money will go straight to Nottingham.

The vast majority of deals are on an installment basis.

Regardless; the accounts will still denote an incoming sale of a depreciating asset for 35m

Essentially, it’s a free transfer. And no, I can’t quite work that out

Simple terms: price / length of contract (max length 5yrs) = amortisation figure per year. (For every year of use you get from a player, their book value decreases by said figure.)

"What is the amortization rule in football?

Amortisation in football is the process of spreading a player's transfer cost over the length of their contract, while impairment in this context means if the value of a player's registration is less than what was originally paid for them due to a range of factors, such as injury, performance or relegation."

In BJs case: Approx £47m / 5 = £9.4m p/a

2 years = £18.8m

£47m - £18.8m = £28.2m remaining book value.

Can't wait for the 35 million to be added to the WAR CHEST we're taking into the January transfer window...

Not much in this one other than confirming paratici and Frank told him yesterday he wasn't in spurs plans

Not part of a sh!t Frank plan.

Johnson may look back at this move as a Godsend or at the very least a lucky escape.
