I went there when Stevie was manager, think they were in 3rd division then. We were paying in the FA Cup on a Sunday, and my friend got me into the Players' Lounge, and met Chrissie Waddle, Paul Stewart and Colin Lee. Obviously wouldn't happen these days, players are so remote from ordinary fans.
Yeah it's getting a bit tired and predictable sky coverage. Their pundits are in time warp from the Wenger fergie era. I dont watch the pundits pre match. Home games put on n17 live on or tune in 5 minutes before. Amazon coverage was quite good. NBC coverage is good as well. No bias.
I don't care if he's a gooner, Ian Wright is a great man of football. Solid human being and even if he will engage in banter now and then, he's never been one to use his position to peddle narratives. I don't think there is another ex woolwich that I can say I respect.
Keane as well, he has consistent views but it's not biased bullshit or rage-baiting. Another rare one that is worthy of respect. He's funny as well.
